fullport asia short, xauusd has been the worst market ive ever seen so far to be honest. Data shows otherwise as-well, these past 2 weeks truly been something else.

Pattern and candlestick read
Price made a sharp bearish expansion, then formed a weak recovery with lower highs. The bounce into 4344–4345 printed rejection and price started turning lower again. This is classic bearish continuation after a pullback. The current candles are not showing strong bullish continuation; they are sitting under resistance and struggling to reclaim the mid-band cleanly.
Key levels
Resistance: 4330–4345
Stronger resistance: 4360–4375
Major upside invalidation: 4391
Support: 4314
Next support: 4299
Major support: 4283–4268
Best trade plan
I would not chase a sell directly at 4326 unless using a very tight scalp. Cleaner setup is selling the retest.
Sell setup 1: pullback retest
Entry: 4330–4345 if price rejects
Stop loss: 4361
TP1: 4314
TP2: 4299
TP3: 4283–4268
Sell setup 2: breakdown continuation
If M30 closes below 4314, wait for a retest of 4314–4320 from underneath.
Entry: sell rejection from that retest
Stop loss: 4335
TP1: 4299
TP2: 4283
TP3: 4268
Invalidation
The bearish setup weakens if M30 closes above 4345.
It becomes invalid if price reclaims 4360–4375, because that would show the bounce is turning into a stronger recovery.
ForexFactory style paragraph
XAUUSD M30 remains bearish after a strong impulsive breakdown from the 4460–4437 area into the 4283–4268 support zone. The recent bounce looks corrective and has now failed around 4344–4345, creating a lower-high rejection under the mid-band. This structure resembles a bear flag / failed recovery pattern. I prefer selling a pullback into 4330–4345 with bearish rejection, targeting 4314, 4299, and 4283–4268. A sustained close above 4345 would weaken the bearish setup, while a reclaim above 4360–4375 would invalidate the immediate sell bias.

A space with a straight line on the chart for me can also be considered a gap at a somewhat high tf. Maybe that's why my previous comment was confusing.

It is not the only nor the main reason i think will go up. Its a mathematical calculation which is the basis of my trading.
Market bottomed yesterday for the same mathematical calculation.

The end of this upside leg should be around 4700.
4422 may be the first resistance.
4480 is half way from bottom to top. Will be surpassed without dificulty.

what bools keep forgetting is precious metals like ranging for up to a decade like gold and especially silver do after they get smacked down cause of margin increases

i dont want to sound demeaning but forex factory full of people that have no idea how real trading works LOL

they all play around with prop money or cfd brokers but the real world buys and sells gold on futures exchanges so when they raise margins means funds and governments have to fork over more money to hold the same speculative positions so that puts a crimp into demand

there may be demand to buy more gold but unless the hedge funds get somemore money deposited in their accounts they cant buy more contracts since the price to play went up which doesnt happen on props or even the cfd bucketshop brokers which is what all these newbies dont understand...nobody besides monopoly money prop firm dipshits can buy gold for the 100 dollars a prop challenge costs.... in real life it costs much more ROFLMAO

i just picked 3000-3500 level since thats like the 50% fib retracement level on quarterly chart
