No one can fix a price gap

Btw. Its your broker, not your MT5

It's the broker only when the broker is a Market Maker (Liquidity Provider).
If it's any other retail broker, he has no way to "fix the gap", either.
A gap is the effect of no available price quotes for the prices in this gap.
This means that whoever is the Liquidity Provider couldn't provide any liquidity for those prices.
In fact, there were no price quotes.
Or, IOW, The Market Opened with a gap...

What you are describing sounds like your MT5 is busy and freezes, at least partially.
This is most likely caused by some indicator, or EA, or I don't know what, because MT4 could be freezing, but not MT5???
Maybe there is some bug in this new indicator?
I have to check that.

Anyways, I made a few modifications:
1. I simplified the code,
2. I added new time options for WhichPrice,
3. I added the Time Today input,
4. I changed the Spacing to raw Points,
5. I modified how the button behaves visually.

this is how i try to use it at moment for anyone interested, i wish i have such lines on all previous candles highs and lows on history, maybe with short lines, i think its not possible to code or i cant explain better, thats why am using this,
but i use it to set a risk limit at the high or low of previous xx timeframe candle and if it fails i take the opposite side, i noticed daily tf is the strongest , but on mt5 i will try 12h, this is the only system i have been struggling with,freezing mt4 platforms and no alerts, for years now, trying it with 0.01, but i noticed since trying it the account refuse to empty, i noticed most losses happen at the middle after price have moved away, maybe will improve with tweaking something
i don't know how to test such system in history, i have to future test it
