Disliked{quote} Hi, Rick Not sure how to relate CDV to total volume as CVD doesn't represent total volume. You even haven't used CVD until recently although you used to promote volume delta. It seems you know many things but to be honest, mostly they don't make sense to me. If they leave such an easy trail, everybody can make money in the market.Does Cumulative Delta Volume represent the total volume traded? We don't really need to know real volume, it's useless by itself.
Real Volume is 40% Wash Trading, 40% Arbritage Trading which now leaves just 20% of the Volume for directional trading (in my opinion using my research).
So only 20% of the Volume information is of any use - which is DELTA
Cumulative Delta or regular Delta lets us see whether Buyers or Sellers are in control
The rest of Volume means little other then to indicator that it's active enough to trade safety.
I would argue if the Delta is Strong - TAKE THE FUCKIN TRADE ANYWAY REGARDLESS OF TOTAL VOLUME
Below is Micro Gold a few minutes ago from my trading platform Motivewave.
Volume is disgusting but the DELTA is clear, I took the Long.
Cheers
