From this EUR/USD 5-minute chart, the short-term momentum looks slightly bearish.

Price is making lower highs and lower lows
Selling pressure increased near the right side of the chart
Moving average is sloping downward
EUR/USD is struggling to hold above the 1.1700 area
Bears stay stronger below 1.1710–1.1715
If price rejects that zone again, sellers may target lower levels
If buyers reclaim and hold above resistance, a short recovery bounce can happen
Wait for confirmation instead of entering instantly
Watch candlestick reactions near support/resistance
Use proper stop loss because news events are visible on the calendar below the chart
look for sell confirmations under resistance
or wait for breakout + retest before buying

For Gold/XAUUSD traders:
EUR/USD weakness can sometimes support USD strength, which may pressure Gold temporarily depending on market sentiment.
