Since taking office, Trump has posted a staggering 8,800 times, with frequent all-night posting binges that suggest he’s barely sleeping.

So here we have an ill-rested, elderly president obsessively rage-posting into the early morning hours, allegedly enabled and coddled by a young, clearly smitten aide who is frequently in his private quarters at all hours, a privilege afforded no other staff member.

According to a new Wall Street Journal report, executive assistant Natalie Harp is the driving force behind many of Trump’s most unhinged and offensive late-night Truth Social rampages.

The 34-year-old former One America News host (wow what a surprice) brings the 79-year-old president stacks of printed posts (often conspiracy theories, racist content, and AI slop), gets his approval, then logs into his account and blasts them out while he should be sleeping.

"I will be asking President Xi, a Leader of extraordinary distinction, to “open up” China so that these brilliant people can work their magic, and help bring the People’s Republic to an even higher level!"

Extraordinary distinction. Of Xi. From the same fucking bastard who in 2016 was bellowing at rally crowds that China was raping our country. The flip is so violent you can hear the bones snap from here to the Blue Mountains.

And who are these brilliant people he’s brought along for the ride?

Elon Musk, owner of a car company that needs the Chinese market more than it needs working brakes.

Tim Cook of Apple, whose entire supply chain runs through Chinese factories he’s been begging Trump to keep open for years.

These aren’t negotiators. They aren’t statesmen. They’re tribute bearers with stock options. Every last fuckwit on that plane has a balance sheet that lives or dies on the Chinese market, and Trump knows it, and Xi knows it, and Xi knows that Trump knows it.

He flew the entire ruling class of American capitalism to Beijing on one fucking plane. If that 747 hits a flock of geese over the Bering Sea, the S&P 500 evaporates by Thursday lunchtime.


Meanwhile Xi sits on a hand of cards that would make a Macau pit boss weep. The Chinese economy grew 5 percent in 2025 despite the tariff war. It’s still growing. They pivoted exports away from the US to other markets, doubled down on tech self-sufficiency, and weaponised rare earths so thoroughly that American defence contractors can’t build a fighter jet without phoning Beijing for bloody permission.

And now the alleged hard man of the MAGA universe has flown to Beijing with a wish list and a soybean sample case.

The tariffs were meant to bring China to heel. They didn’t. They were meant to bring jobs back. They didn’t. They were meant to demonstrate American strength to the world. Instead they’ve produced a president on his knees in the Great Hall of the People asking the Chinese to please, please buy some American soybeans and let Apple flog some phones.

Beijing wants its public to see exactly this image: the American president on pilgrimage, the C-suite of capitalism in tow, hat in hand, asking for favours from the one bloke he spent a decade telling Americans was the enemy.

The bloke who built a political movement on the China threat, the China virus, the China rip-off, the China rape, signed off with this little gem:

The only thing he’s bringing home is a stack of photos with Xi smiling like a cat with half a canary tail still hanging out the side of its mouth.
