Earlier, there was a sell scalping opportunity in the market, and I managed to take that trade. Unfortunately, I was occupied at the time, so you may have missed it.

For now, the straightforward buy setup is this: if the market breaks above the $4,703 resistance level, we can look for buying opportunities. Keep in mind, today is a scalping day - both buyers and sellers are active, so don’t get married to any single trend.

Stay disciplined, stick to your money management rules, and protect your capital at all times.

Hold off on opening any trades until the current H4 candle has closed.

The current Gold market trend is highly uncertain - practically in ICU. That means no trades should be taken when the direction isn’t clear. Between the $4,708 and $4,688 support zone, this is strictly a NO TRADE ZONE.

there is compression into the h1 Bollinger bands and the h8 is compressing - watch for the fake move before the move. there are also gaps at todays open on the h1 and m1

At the moment, the market shows no active trend, similar to the previous Pre‑NY session. Gold is consolidating within a narrow range between $4,690 and $4,700. A decisive breakout from this range will confirm the next directional move and provide clearer trading levels.

I expect today’s Retail Sales data to shape the market and potentially trigger momentum.

Until then, patience is key. Use this waiting phase to sharpen your mindset with positive practice. Personally, I run simulations whenever I know the waiting game might stretch a bit longer- it keeps the brain sharp and the discipline intact.

Gold Outlook for Near to Midterm & Levels to watchout.

After a Downward breakout of the triangle pattern, that was preceded by a sharp up-move (of ~6% in 3-trading session), Price near an important support Zone of (Rising trendline and Horizontal Support), a sideways movement is expected before price Shows any Decisive move.

Point to notice
The Up move we saw couldn't surpass the fib retracement level of 0.618 of previous downswing and fall back.

Levels
Important level on the downside is 4500, if taken out successfully then, clean sell signal would trigger, where as on the upside, level of 4775 is crucial, till the time price gives a clean breakout our outlook will remain bearish.

Jatin, you’re young - and that’s your advantage. Your questions show you’re still in the learning phase, so this is the time to learn Forex, not chase money.

How can I set weekly goals for you when you’re still building your foundation? That’s the trap most newcomers fall into - especially with prop firms. Don’t become their product. First, build your trading skill. Test your systems in Forex simulations month after month. Put your system through at least 1,000 trades, be brutally honest with the results, and then judge your edge.

If you’re satisfied with your skill, only then step into live trading.

Remember: you can’t “please” the Forex market with money - this market is always hungry. The only way to earn its respect is through skill, discipline, and consistency. Nothing else.
