After two weeks of using a demo account with a 0.01 lot size, I was making around $40–50 per day on average. So I tried increasing the volume, but when I did, my psychology changed and I often exited trades too early. Then last Friday, I removed the hedge because I thought the price would go down and increased the volume significantly — and I blew the account.
Next week, I’ll start over on a demo account again. With this method, I only make money during the Asian session. When it comes to the New York session, I usually end up losing, so after one week, once the Asian session ends, I close all my trades and secure whatever profit I have.

One of the best traders I’ve seen on Forex Factory is Rob (rest in peace ) (Thread: No Indicator Trading System). He trades only during session opens, typically within a 1.5-hour window. He has reportedly made millions using a simple approach based on support and resistance, with an average risk-reward ratio of around 1:7, often using very tight stop losses of 3–5 pips on FX pairs. I attached a photo of his from my gratitude.

I spent years trying to master his strategy. I even invested in tools for backtesting and forward testing, and traded it live as well. However, over time I realized that I don’t have the same level of knowledge or experience that Rob has built over the years. No matter how much I tried, I couldn’t replicate his results.

Currently, I trade using my own variation of the Wolf Strategy, based on Silvano’s concept. I’ve found that I can consistently make money during the Asian session, but I tend to lose during the New York session—especially when I remove my hedge and attempt to trade in the opposite direction.

Eventually, I understood that instead of copying Silvano exactly, I needed to adapt the strategy to fit my own style and understanding. That’s when things started to improve.

I believe most traders attempting this strategy need to find their own way of making profit from hedging. This is not a system where someone can provide a fixed formula like 1 + 1 = 2 that works for everyone. It doesn’t work that way.

I appreciate your honesty @BDFX, but tell me, what is wrong with the New York Session, everyday I was positing my result and everyday I try to close my Book, as I said before if the price wont retrace on the original position as usual we do, we do swing Hedge. we rehedge and try to swing the position until the momentum diminished and trend change, then we go to all our Drawdown.

and Yes you are right, Market is not 1 Pattern to suit all, it is dynamic, so we must react to it dynamically. thats why I keep telling you guys, Master the Level, Master the Time, and Master the reversal, because even though you would do 1 side trading, you also need to do reversal and levels as well.

This is the reason why I want you guys to post result, win or loss, as we can study it what did wrong or what we did right so we can be consisted. beside we only do demo, Can you please tell me at what Date you become hard to unhedge on New York so we can study it.

this problem is easy to solve,,, just dont be greedy and keep using the same small lot possible. but actually it mention hes making money on Asian and Loosing it in newyork. same problem as bdfx,,, please tell me what date you lost in New York session so I can published the Historical Candle on that Date. and we can study.

Please everyone I want you to put all your concern here, on your performance, so we can tackle it, positively. Dont Hide it. We need to approach it bravely, so if the condition comes to you again, you know what you need to do.

Is this the Dates you guys cannot Get out? 15 ~ 17. April? range 4840 ~ 4780? because if you hedge on those, both position you can get out positively. actually. this was 3 days ranging actually, and Both Position has a chance to be Green. If this is not the one then tell me which date so we can analyze it. from here you can see price start at 4840 then it gradually drop to 4780, from 4780 it shoot up as well. so you have ample time for all position to be Green.

But I have to admit, this April this month, is so Hard to trade, as there not much volatility on the Market, and sometimes reversal Happen Out of time, thats why I mostly Hold Swing Hedge this month. Iran USA War got the market knocked, and many also says they have Insider trading like some news will come out, and Market will move in advanced like they new something that we dont. But If you hold onto out basic core, you probably survive this Month and made money.

Please tell me the Dates you guys Hard to get out so we can study it. Remember there is no Athlete who is Born as a Baby that immediately run already. He takes baby steps, crawling, standing, until his legs become strong and ready for the Leap. But the more Important is he took the baby steps.

I want you guys to review all the trades you been doing so far, even your not hedging including for what you been doing before, I want you to sort it based on pips red and Green, I want you to review all your RED PIPS you have. and Tell me how many is the real mistake and should been cut on those, and how many red pips possible to be green if you just hedge and waited out. I want you to see your own performance.

if this statement is not true.
Price will always comeback to the same entry on which you order. eg (BUY or SELL), or if its not exactly on same price at least the drawdown has been minimised.

Please review all your records.

took about 300 trades so far... and 5 would be red right now. all the other red would have been green. Sometimes I closed to early or to late.

I'm still practicing. Not good i would say, right now overall profit the the start of april around 600. Nothing changed this week. I could have made more than 1000 this week, i just simply missed the point where i should've close my sells and add buy, i slept tbh. I have just one problem, with reversal at ny session, this is the hardest part of this strategy for me. I look at the market before and after 1 hour at the start of the session but even though i don't know where the market heads to. This the problem for me right now. And cause of this sometimes i close too early, or just miss the reversal and etc

Hi everyone，to be honest my journey not going well too… i am stuck at new york session same as you guys.. every times newyork open, i am so stress. sometimes if the trade goes wrong, we rehedge. but till the next day, i am not confident anymore to unhedge and go for 1 side trading.. and some other times, the big reversal happened in asia open, i am just not ready yet. it makes me more confuse on which reversal is valid. i messed up here.

At what things do you look when you looking 1 hr before and 1 hr after the london/ny session starts? Like are there any candlestick patterns or any thing? Could you share your thought process master wolf?

all this signal is based on 1 hr Opening of before Asia and 1 Hr Opening before New York. Please observe all the arrows, and how the price react and reverse on those times. I know its not 100% but this is the most closes I use for reversal for timing. and this is really proven by many. Sometimes I also look at 1 Hr before London Open. on this Price Action, you can base your Hedge which side to unlock, or to Hold. I think this is the Problem for most students. Unlocking too early and the price goes continuation.


I think this is the problem for most, as when to unlock and when to hold.
