It's totally relevant PC.

To survive we still need to know these things for sure. I'm always talking about that 50% imbalance aha.

I think what I want everyone to be able to do is to see the market for what it is and how it works and one system alone wont stop silly losses lol

It's the difference between working out if you should cut your loss or stay in the game.

I do think we'll hit the PDL and go above but will have to see.

Also this was a valid nova entry as higher low was created but not keen on the SL xD

EDIT: By the looks of it, I think sellers are just being absorbed here.

So just to recap

Price was trading below the PDL during Asia and once London opens the most logical place to grab liquidity to move price higher is to trap sellers hence asia low was the trap.

Next logical area is then going to be the previous day low first.

2 nova signals have presented themselves BUT the 2nd might not survive.

The 2nd one is my favourite entry but price just hit the PDL so if we are to go higher it probably will need to come back a bit lower where the imbalance is.

Good day you guys. I've got a few questions.. Earlier yesterday after doing all the pre Asia session prep, I noticed price had swept a pdl on eur/usd, and fter confirming, it had all the signals of a retracement. THe ema's swapped on the 1m, the 15min trend seemed to be reversing to follow the bulllish bias of the past week, and I even waited for two green confirmations on the histogram, still no luck. It's not much trouble, since I manage my risk fine, but Id like some comments or atleast advice on this before i starr looking for entries in ny session today, Thanks in advance.

Neither position survived - PDL proving too much for buyers.

We are bearish overall though on HTF (H4)

Daily low is also W Fib 0.618 again not a coincidence. I wouldn't sell into that.

EURUSD is in confirmed downtrend on the daily chart as its below the EMA's.

So ideally you'd want to be looking for selling opportunities more so instead of buys.

Gold is still bullish on the daily hence why I was focussing on price reaching the PDL.

So buyers were rejected at the PDL so they went home and got their big brother (asia low)

Now back up to almost where we were

The big thing to mention is that daily is bullish but H4 and below is bearish so ideally we want to see H4 align with the Daily if we are to stay bullish but that could take weeks to happen.

If we stay above previous month low next tuesday then that will be the BIG area for price to sweep for reversal. If we break below then daily will then turn bearish as well.

Okay okay, thanks ! But, wouldn't that also mean gold is in a confirmed downtrend, since its below the emas too? Or maybe it's just my own ema settings idk

Gold is still in bullish trend on daily but bearish on H4.

You see that massive sweep candle - Price hasnt closed below yet on the daily. Thats what's keeping the bullish bias alive lol

Yeah it's been annoying but I do think it'll break PDL

I wouldn't trade anywhere in between the 2 for now - better to wait and see which side is taken out first and let structure show you what to do next.

EMA's are flat on M1 also... it's time to sit on our hands for now.

It’s true that when trading on the 1-minute timeframe, the position size is too large, so I can’t risk 1%. That’s a shame. I guess I’ll work more on the 3-minute timeframe.

k pdl was hit looking for a pull back to long... hopefully it breaks through
EDIT: scratch tht, theres no nove corssing on neither 15 nor 1 min, i'm just gonan wait to see if it corsses at all on pdl

Yeah the PDL nova signal failed but price does want to go above. It's trying but I am holding off doing anything for now till we get that clear break

What do you mean by NOVA not crossing the 15-minute mark? When I see Nova close below the zero line on the 15-minute chart, the price has already moved too far away from an optimal entry point within one minute.
