For those who understand Nova this ones for you.

I haven't shown this before but I think it's very useful so I'm sharing it.

Alongside Nova you can use CVD, this basically gives you a visual of whos in control overall.

When you find divergence like I've marked out you are able to have more confidence that sellers are on your side and buyers are getting exhausted.

I don't want to go off on a tangent with this but take a look and learn about it in your own time.

Works very well for false breakouts.

CVD is showing that all day it's been a sellers market.

Yes, this is a separate strategy. If different strategies are integrated, we will move away from the real strategy. SMT (mismatch) CRT etc. Each will give a separate signal. It may cause confusion. Especially those who join the system without fully understanding NOVA may be confused.

Hi everyone, I've been following since the beginning and I do use Nova even though I never shared, but I hopefully will.

@xkwisit2001 thank you for sharing your brain.
I'd like to say that I actually prefer the way you handle your thread and I hope you will keep it like this, as I think more insight will help us to have different POVs.

I understand it could create confusion, but there's page 1 too. If we keep Nova without adding traders' ideas, I guess OP will get bored, this thread will die, or it will become like others where you only see users sharing trades.

With, seriously, all the respect, I see Nova working well as a final/additional confirmation for our strategies. I don't believe in such a mechanical strategy with defined rules to follow. This is why I've read some "negative" comments about it, because we can't just trade every single good signal-lookalike without considering other aspects and...yeah I'm in favor of adding apples here without opening any extra thread.

Maybe the right title should have been "Nova Volume (for your) Trading System"

Hey buddy, I agree, Nova is a great tool in the box, but to leverage on it as best as possible, you need confluence to confirm the "Nova trade" (or why not to take the trade). That being said, Nova is an awesome tool as a foundation for a good trading system. EMAs, imbalances, bounce of ie. PDL/PDH, divergence etc. it all stacks up.

Added confluence means added confidence = enter with larger trade. less confluence still enter but with smaller trade/risk.
Thats how i see it.

The system is clear. For confirmation, it depends on your ability to read the chart. You can either get confirmation from Fibo, get confirmation from FVG, get confirmation from structure breakdowns, or get confirmation by adding a different indicator. All of this is about your knowledge and experience. Therefore, you cannot add a concrete confirmation element. While some of you will use FVG, some of you will use Fibo. Everyone has different trading psychology and systems. The gain is in the middle, go and win, remember that the difficult and complex is not better...

Wasn't that a pretty risky business? It was not below all EMAs and only reached a certain range. Or did you rely on fibo 50?

Moreover, it was before the opening of London if I am not mistaken.

I know what I am doing. It has been laid out on over 100 pages for people to read.

Sometimes people do need to know about certain tools because they can be struggling and this system was not meant to be a religion.

If you choose to trade how I have laid it out then that is totally fine but some other people aren't me and often need to know some extra details to help them and their mindset/confidence.

All emas show a downward intersection. Could you please check? I don't use Fibo for transaction entry. I just added it as an example for those who want different confirmations.

Quite a few people who read the thread but don't reply here all the time thank me for things that I have shared in my inbox.

The system can and is profitable on it's own but I made it simple for a purpose. To give foundation.

If some people need that little bit extra to sharpen their knowledge then that is what I share.

Those who know what I'm about know it's volume, liquidity, context & market structure that I focus on.

The tools I have shared outside of Nova are ALL tools I use each and every day lol

VWAP & CVD are both fantastic and are volume tools to use as well as fibs and understanding the imbalances and the role they play.... especially for reversals to get context.

Nova system didn't really include liquidity sweeps but I did say everyone trading the system need to know about market structure as it is important and is usually where a trend comes from!

Mathony had a losing day yesterday and for one of his trades he lost on a gold down move, if a fib was used he'd understand why price was stalling... it was at the 38.2% so it would be more likely to pull back higher to 50%+ at least and that is why nova sell signal didn't work out for him.

Would then be all about looking for structure to change to then continue with nova signals i.e lower high or higher low break then nova signal.

The main difference is that when I'm doing my personal trading I check these things on the fly and also during my prep to remember later like a sat nav... or ill sometimes have a quick glance at another tool for confluence... that's where stronger conviction lies.

Again, another thing most people don't know is that gold officially opens at 8:20 EST - (check on charts and past 2 days we had price drop).

I'm not moving away from the system, the system is what it is but what I am sharing sometimes are small nuggets to pad out or help with market understanding.

I'm sorry if I misunderstood. The system is yours and you can make additions as you wish. As I always say, it is just a winning system and I don't understand why there is still a need for different additions.

I'm not adding to the system, I am giving little bits of important information that you will pick up over time if you choose to follow volume.

Price is below yesterdays low and we are of course in London session where manipulation usually occurs.

If you look, it's sweeping asia low currently so price could start going bullish if we see the change in market structure.

Then the EMA's may flip bullish and you can start using Nova signals

Also note that we are also just above last months low.

Why might price head back up - well because we are very far from balance and VWAP (white line) will need to be revisited.

I'm not telling you all to use VWAP at all but it's framing an idea or context that price will likely break back above yesterdays low to find balance and the market makers take price wherever they wish.

1st EMA flip pullback could be forming so that can be another entry upon nova signal.

Just need to let it do it's thing.

Imbalances (FVGs) : this often happens.

In this case we have two stacked sell FVGs. (5M and 15M) : Confluence. See what happens when the midline (50%) is hit. Coincidence?, probably not!

How to use this? A) Dont buy below or if you are long close your trade here. B) Quick scalp down.
