Now it is best that you prepare a new version of the Indicator in your Terminal for the new Claude code to be pasted into.

So in your MetaQuotes Language Editor open the folder the Indicator that you want to change is in, Copy it and paste it back into the same folder, now rename the indicator "Indicator_Name_v1.02"

Now click on and open this "Indicator_Name_v1.02" in your MetaQuotes Language Editor, Delete all the code within it, "that is the old code last version" now past the new code from Claude AI into the blank "Indicator_Name_v1.02" and Compile it, if no Errors or Warning you are good to go, place the new version on your chart a happy man.

If there is an Error or Warning when you Compile the new code, just copy those Error Warning details back to Claude AI, Claude will correct the Errors or Warnings.

Copy the corrected code form Claude AI into your new "Indicator_Name_v1.02" blank indicator, Compile it again, if no Errors or Warnings then you are a happy man.

It sounds all complicated yet it is Super Simple and Super Fast.

This is not only for creating new versions of Indicators or EAs, but you can create any Indicator or EA you dream of in minutes.

I'd strongly suggest that your advice is useless for someone who doesn't want to learn and doesn't want to touch anything...
Also, why would you copy and paste the code to Notepad???
That's completely unnecessary!
Just copy directly in Meta Editor or IDE (Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) it to Claude.
Claude will also provide you with a downloadable .mq4/5 file with a unique name, so your advice is lame, sorry!...

And another thing - though Claude is relatively good, it also makes mistakes, is often sloppy, makes omissions, and often tells you total bullshit. So if you don't know it's bullshit, you will believe that it's true...

That's MQL and has nothing to do with any broker.
However, it's advisable to use _Symbol if we need the current chart symbol.

For BTCUSD that could make sense, because of the prices.

If you are thinking about a profit or loss of $100, then it depends on the LotSize.

I will be using the indicator only on the gold chart average moment is 100 to 400 USD

So on GOLD they are lines plotted every $100 USD, so for example:
4000
4100
4200 and so on.
