Today, we can move anywhere. If gold drops 9% and then returns to zero, nothing should surprise us. The only thing we can do in such a situation is play smart, look for positions, or not trade at all.

Just blew my account due to not managing risk (I entered 3x 0.5 lots) price instantly goes down before I get the chance to set a SL.

I trade on a 1/40 shoulder.. I recommend that you take a closer look at such shoulders. You will feel more confident..
