Looking at volume Profile next good support is 4600. But yes, like you said, it may not be a straight line move so 4700s could support for the day. Gold is simply mad and can just sink.

Dont see any impulse from buyers .Told you few days ago with the buying .If you dont see any impulse from buyers at 4600 keep selling to 4400 .The best way wait until the market settled until Friday with one hour before reset .
If we loose 4500-4600(main support) next is 3900-4200.
