  • Trump says Iran war will 'not last long'

    United States President Donald Trump expressed his belief that the military conflict in Iran will be over soon. In an interview with Fox News Radio on Friday, the US president said the country's economy will "bounce back" once the war is over, which he expects will not take long. When asked when exactly the war would end, Trump said he would "feel it in his bones." Regarding the ongoing conflict, Trump also claimed that the current regime in Iran will fall, but added that it might not happen "immediately."

It's probably a true effect, but don't give Trump too much credit for thinking that strategically. He doesn't think past tying his shoelaces in the morning, much less anything concerning the war. He lets 'his' generals do all of that, then overrides them, anyway.

His generals are all bootlickers - anyone with common sense was gone after the first term. But I think even they said something about the whole thing being a disastrous idea. What does he care though, it's like a video game - you die, you respawn! But China can probably buy Russian oil whenever they want anyway, I kinda doubt they are hurting much.
