This Market trapped my mind... I tried to stay away and entered only for micro scalp (1-2 mins)and was successfully doing it for the whole week.. low target and out... when I didn't get trapped by this market directly.. it trapped my mind... was trying one position with as low as 0.02 lots and mistakenly put 0.20 and lost a lot in just one candle before I put any SL. Entire weeks profit dodged in seconds...

I hate to be that guy but please guys this is pretty normal stuff for news trading. If you're getting crushed here I highly suggest you don't risk capital until you have more experience with fundamentals. Technical rarely get respected on unexpected news data.

Adding to what you said, colleague, I'll tell you what I used to do when trading weeks with high-impact news. I analyzed ALL the week's data, pulling historical data from 6-9 months ago, going into forums to evaluate the numbers and see if they made sense (many speculative numbers that governments give are often way off; I believe they know they're screwed, and just give higher numbers to avoid making a big mess too early), matching the data to see if it made sense and if it aligned with the speculative scenario. And as my colleague said, on days with strong data, technical analysis often gets lost, especially if you work with smaller timeframes. The best advice is to leave the charts and not trade.
