Gold Long Term Analysis
Gold is trading around 5050-5100 after rejecting 5200 resistance. Daily structure remains bullish with higher highs and higher lows holding above the key 4900-4950 support zone. Price is consolidating between trendline support and 5200 resistance. A clean break above 5250 can push toward 5598 and possibly 6100 while a strong move below 5000 may lead to 4937-4780.
Fundamentally strong USD and high bond yields are pressuring gold short term. However, geopolitical risks central bank buying and potential Fed rate cuts support the medium to long term bullish outlook. Overall bias stays bullish above 4900 but consolidation continues for now.
Trade Plan – Buy Setup
Buy Zone: 4980-5020
Buy Trigger: Strong H1 bullish rejection from support or bullish close above 5120
Targets: 5200, 5350, 5598
Invalidation: H4 close below 4950

Trade Plan – Sell Setup
Buy Zone: 5180-5220
Buy Trigger: Clear H1 bearish rejection from resistance or bearish close below 5000
Targets: 4950, 4937, 4780
Invalidation: H4 close above 5250

Overall 5200 is key resistance and 5000 is key support. Break of either side will likely drive the next strong move.

Touch and fly, dont like that still BEARISH. Nothing no double bottom, i do not tradve V Shape.

almost got the whole sell to day f it market, why it need to jump such high before drop

Damn, buddy, I was looking for you here in the thread to ask if you had reached the goal you were supposed to achieve. But it happens, it was a bad day for me too, tomorrow we'll come back stronger.

Well, it's definitely not my first day, nor first week, nor first month, haha. Having traded for over two years, I know very well that days like this are normal. In fact, these last two weeks were going too well, I was expecting a bad day to be honest, especially since I'm not a saint who always gets it right, and I think it's important to show others my flaws; after all, we all make mistakes here, haha.

5000 isnt the bottom...we'll prolly see lower price next few days...my target is 4600 so unless people scalping a 5 min chart just sell all rallies

they just cant dump like that, without build a distribution it should not drop further (this could appear above 0.5 level of MN which is 4996)

IMO.

She is just going to keep dropping, consistantly, with a final spike down for the bottom. I really wouldn't be surprised to see 3600 after such a huge sustained rise. Might sound ridiculous given the current affairs but far better to look ffor the unexpected.

I'll be paying close attention to adjusting my Volume Profile; there was a downward break in the VAH (Volume Ascending Trend), even though it was configured for a continuation of the upward trend. So now there's room for a good correction.

it's clear that the govs bought gold for months before the war and now taking profit on poor retail. but man, I never expected this aggressive selloff after the war announcement.

As a seller myself.. im disappointed today with myself massively . Its caz when such a golden opportunity comes by, i just chicken out by looking at the sheer volume dude.. And then, after everything is over, ill be gawking at the charts being like- 'if only i had held the trade' or 'if only i had just set n forgotten about it' etc etc .
Like cmon man, such a wasted potential/opportunity today omg-
Its just the little frustration that makes you have sleepless nights man, im just disappointed- i knew a big sell-off would happen, i knew each and every levels and still didnt take any action, like "fk me bruh"

How are you finding using volume profiles with gold? I use it mainly for BTC but haven't incorporated into my gold trading yet

Look on the bright side, my friend, at how good your market reading is, and that now, perhaps all that's missing is that "small part" that actually matters most to traders: the emotional side. But be proud of being able to see and get your analysis right.
