If you "know" they want to dump make use of that information and make profit- if you don't do it- you don't know you just guess - that is my understanding - if you have understating of what is going on in psychology and market you are able to profit from it. If you don't make profit- it means you are wrong which is ok because everyone is wrong at least from time to time (except for the best of people , maybe the best in the history and universe - Donald "ego" Trump)

Or market is surprised but then big guys take advantage of this situation to liquidate retail traders

Oh hell nah, you don't short gold just because you '' know'' the manipulation is going to happen. I always trade WITH the trend. and I'm not here to try and catch a manipulation dump. becuase I DON'T KNOW *WHEN* it will happen. I'm not a liquidity provider; I just knew when NOT to trade.

Well, today is a day to close the chart and forget that gold exists for me, haha, after missing the drop to 5200 because I had to close my open position at 5275 due to some things I had to take care of, and then buy early and take a stop loss, and now see the price going towards the target, haha. Days like this are terrible, they make us feel like we don't know how to trade, but it's just a bad day. I'll be back tomorrow, friends. Good luck to everyone who is trading.

SL now at b/e 5170 TP open but 5250 would be very good as would higher naturally

wow what a move down from London I'm not sure if there's every been such a violent move in a London session.
