Today’s Bias: No Trades

Today’s ATR is keeping me out, and the structure is already cooked. Sellers broke the Asia close low, and that’s the last anchor for today. From that break alone the market dropped around 3% and it’s still pushing. Adapting to old anchors from last week is how you get smoked. Nothing here justifies a trade.

I’m stepping aside today. Safe trades, everyone.

Let the dust settle and pick up new plans after. Either way there will be some trades tomorrow and onwards. Sometimes its more about not losing any money than making it

Managed to recovered my losses from holding long! Now I'm just too scared to enter, but since I'm using a cent account, I'm just putting small 0.02 lots instead of 1.0 lot size.

it's sell the news event. probably Gov and banks wanted to fool retail into buying as a safe asset before war. and as soon war starts they took profits. not that complicated. the first hint was 28 jan

Well definitely some surprises over the last few days.
Be ready for anything right? That was a profitable short, but was expecting to go long, should have been better.
It's humorous to watch 'experts' try to predict what's going to happen, and always a mistake to make assumptions.
Somebody had a lot of gold to sell, and then buy back at a lower price.

My main goal is NOT to be a liquidity provider...

Long @ $5080 .. took some profit already.

It'll be interesting to see if NY buys the dip, or pushes it lower.

Thats the thing. Everyone automatically thinks because there’s tension due to war that Gold will carry on going up but there could also be other things in play at the same time. I have no doubt that lots of retail traders would have been blowing their accounts for fun since yesterday because majority of them are thinking Iran war = Gold new ATH.

We’ve dropped so much and NY is yet to open. And knowing NY they could drive this much much lower. Nobody knows where the low is, majority of people are just guessing.

Yeah, as soon as I saw all the tiktok traders on x talking about full port gold on sunday. I waited. made good profit buying the deep on Sunday and then just waiting outside. not worth trading these conditions. I knew the market makers wanted to dump on us retail
