    Tanker owners, oil majors and trading houses suspended oil, fuel and LNG shipments through the Strait of Hormuz after Tehran said it had closed navigation, raising fears of a major supply shock.

Iran have already stored around 7 days of world wide consumption in waters close to China, in tankers - just parked - So did Iraq, Saudi and Qatar before this war started - this 7 day of world wide consumption will feed China for months and provide revenue to Iran to keep going for even longer.

China is not in an immediate no-oil crisis, they have buffers, stockpiles and alternative supply channels. Yes the price of oil will rise but I think we're looking at like 2-3 months of emergency supply should inflows drop sharply due to Hormuz situation
