I think if you demo'ed your system using $500 as a starting account that covers a good range of account types. Not too small it is limited to taking big risks on capital per trade but not too big it alienates the people trying to make smaller accounts work

I have only ever traded Gold for the last 2 years, used to trade up to 15 pairs but no more ... XAUUSD or some broker derivative of sane XAUUSDp etc ... focus is the key for me ...

My plan is not about making 3% on a $50 account.
My initial risk is $50 only for the first trade, and I will deposit $100 because of margin requirements.
The goal is to double the account 9 times while keeping the same structure: 50% of the account as risk and 50% reserved for margin, until the ninth trade or whichever flip target I choose. (:
