In simple terms, the US wants Iran to completely disarm so that Israel can attack Iran whenever it wants without interference.
If you look at Iran's history, in the past 200 years, Iran has not initiated any war.

Well not quite. Half of the significant aspects of the deal were due to expire in 2025/26, with the rest expiring in 2030/31. The Obama deal also did not impact Irans Ballistic missile program, or its support for terrorist groups.

The mulla's gov is an internationally recognized terrorist entity with years of documented terrorist activity aiming to destabilize the surrounding countries. They cannot be trusted. It is very possible that no matter what document they sign to promise to stop their terrorist network, they can covertly continue to expand their illicit activities.

To enforce their compliance to the terms of an agreement that saves them from total destruction by the world powers, their ability to retaliate must be curbed. It is nothing different than if a criminal was sentenced only to house arrest or other restrictive measure, they would be required to give up their weapons and be monitored closely.

In fact, their being only disarmed instead of receiving the capital punishment for all their heinous crimes, is a generous blessing for them and frankly already too lenient. They should be grateful that they are allowed to even exist considering they forced their way to govern after the 1979 revolution. I only hope they don't comply and receive their well deserved obliteration once and for all. Hoping for a safer world when there is no morally deviant mullahs to worry about.

We had an agreement working from President Obama, which Trump dismantled out of spite, and here we are. Trump is a wrecking ball of greed and evil and ruins many of our stable world trading aspirations here...... and is yet another clueless republican causing instability and war in the middle east! We do not need another US soldier killed or maimed there, or another defense contractor richer of our bloated debt here!
