Then why don't you hike rates to kill demand (cause a recession) and throw everyone out of work to bring prices down? If everyone is unemployed then prices will come down. As long as people have jobs then they won't.

Ignored

Supply side shock. Removing undocumented immigrants paying taxes and being ineligible for most federal Government benefits.
Politics aside, this was always part of the equation going forward with the policies that were adopted. Let’s see how it plays out…
