Thank you guys. I am fine as I lost some of the profit I made this week. I was just mad at myself because I saw it acting a little different than the previous few days. I should have at least reduced the lot size today. I was scalping successfully the past few days with heavy lots and continued with the same size today even when I felt this is acting a little different today. I was just mad at myself for not following my own rules which is trade what you see not what you think.

Trading successfully in this environment is about identifying high-probability zones, respecting the structure, and managing risk consistently. Each candle has its own ratios; break, retest, and failure form the simplest reversal signals. When these are aligned with fractals and proper support/resistance levels, uncertainty becomes an edge rather than an obstacle—you’re trading probabilities, not certainties, and the sooner you treat your price action as part of probabilities happening real time instead of a narrative the better the outcome, probably!

Here's my final take: I never said price action is not good. All I said was you had to profit from it but be discretionary. We're all discretionary. We aren't engineering financial products nor do we have access to bloomberg terminals. Something to also keep in mind is that our minds are constantly working to find an edge, as it should be the case, and it's straining...I could have shorted all the way back in 4800 if I was 'so sure' about my macro, no? But I'm just like you...in a sense. I like my dose of price action. Again, it's straining.

But we can win big so let's win big, right? My response was supposed to take edge off. Good wins.

I feel like you are preaching to the choir. Deal is one of the best here and gives probabilities based on open and close, median prices etc. He encapsulates most of the things you gave and he never treats levels as a given. He always speaks of probabilities based on anecdotal evidence.

If we close below in 5m tf 4930.386 i close the 2nd bullet, already close the 1st when reject the 4951.896, and no it is not the high of 4h open, is the correct ratio...
Because i know price can test my entries at 4916.275/ 4908.400

I reach a level that can apply any TF, but yes i use special monthly and daily...
Using monthly ratios i am already supported by fundamentals...

Tight stops don't married with my personality.
Avoid that i can identify when i am wrong, i shift and cut losses when i see i am wrong, that is part of pattern recognition study too, is not just set and forget.

I am about 20m holding the 2nd bullet at the exact price i mention in 5m, this is not fundamentals, this is price action base in OHLC.
If people wnat to call it random, non profitable whatever...
I will keep in my path...

4h is still bearish open and closes matter lol
4h didn't shift as candle... But it signal a potential reverse.. Fakeout...
So not even think average yet price...

This is a 4h example, i can go to 1m using 1h as median... But is just random...

Hi all …. Lesson learn tody

am trading from 2004 it’s 21 y now

am scalper… every week deposit 1k and Friday 1 AM take profit or deposit 1k for the next week

this week I made till today 9.5 k just gold and btc …. Some dax and us100 …. No more index lol

now i withdrawal 4.6 k profit so today I risk the profit and lost 4.9 k

sad no.. happy … no. It’s like every week

but I have to change my risk m. And withdraw.m …. Now every 200% just take it. …. The market is really crazy

I trade like 200 + trade every day …… problem is last 4 years on iPad

market now is fast really fast …. And iPad have to use finger 18 times every trade to put sl + tp = 3600 click daily…. Am done w iPad lol
