my reasoning is 30m already broke structure and depending on this candle close, i think a retracement is needed to push higher than 5200 onwards

but obviously have stops in place

-- also invalidated cause 30m broke and all htf are bullish

i think it depends on strategy, yours must do real well in choppy markets, but i think the general consensus is that most peoples strategies are made for trending markets

It’s not one sided trade if you literally analyse the market to be bullish especially if you’re a swing trader like myself. It would be foolish for a swing trader to open a sell when the momentum is going upwards. If you’re a scalper or day trader, then fine that’s good too.

We all have our preferences and style of trading. I’ve held positions for up to a week and made just as much or more profit that people that scalp daily. Same with losses but the good thing about swing trading for me, is if I see that the momentum has reverse, I don’t sit on it and pray for market to go my way. I analysis and open at a key level that I can hold long term till it reach my TP.

I hate it when people make it sound like swing trading is greedy, how is that any different from someone that scalps? We all greedy!!!

I agree! A few a good at spotting when to enter and close a trade especially in an extremely volatile market. Not everybody can have the same skills

There is something happening, we will know soon.
Gold is reacting like this for a reason.
I don't know how to play this, I am scalping but not getting anywhere near the benefit of this massive move
