Since yesterday...1 hour before London open....Asia printed High of Asia...then lndon play inside....

50 % of the range then played...probably or 25 % extension/ retracement...depend how NY prepared by London

5100 rejected for the 4th time
This just confirms for me that there are lots of sellers above 5100 once again
I think am stepping out here
No much news today so it's just gonna range and keep kicking everyone!
Like I said yesterday, am bullish but for now, not bullish above 5100
Only a deeper pullback can break 5100 or maybe fomc tomorrow!
So for now am leaving only quarter my size to run here at ~5090 (not stepping with bulls into 5100 until confirmed)
Any which way the goal is to come out with something and not catch every single move!
When you wait you get sniper entries

5075.955
Trade average, 1 quarter loss and now just wait...
Price is not clear to me and really didn't like that close above 5068.200.
When this happens my setup loose value to me despite still can work...
There others out there to come.

Ok no worries here is simple and short answer:
Old resistance becomes new support and Old support becomes new resistance. Price often reacts to the same areas again because we remember those zones and place orders there.
For example yesterday gold was rejected from 5090-5100+ and that area was resistance and now flip these number to othe direction and see what should be the support according to our above resistance 4990-5000.

More simple way to flip numbers
Before (Resistance)
5084-5093 / 5130-5140 / 5164-5172
Flip (Support)
4984-4993 / 5030-5040 / 5064-5072

Yesterday Trade Setup
If i had a sell trade from 5090-5100 then my first tp will be 5064-5072 then 5030-5040 and finally afer break of 30-40 zone 4984-4993
now flip above numbers, after hitting my tp i will byuy from 4984-4993 if not then 5030-5040 and TP will be according to above support numbers which are now resistance.

Note
The main point is not to trade just because price reaches a level but to wait for confirmation like strong rejection candles or clear price reaction. Also entry depends on timeframe like small moves are fine for quick trades while bigger confirmation is better for longer trades.

Long term bullish, but also was short term bearish.
I always play this setup, is profitable long run and easy to manage.
There were none shift in 4h, so nothing real change. But still open to sells as long 4h don't close above 5101.
Didn't play as expected i don't figh...
Watching this 30m candle will do... If narrow or expansion.
Still waiting if a sell or a buy for scalp...

5088.470 to be tap again, so... how much the range they will give, that is the question...

It just loves wanting to go back up
This might not be a range as we think anymore, pullback is not deep enough
Seems more directional
But it all means nothing if 5100 don't have clean enough break
