quick qn to the experienced:

how important are previous days - and so the asian, london ny session - highs and lows? I see people chart them out as if they are draws to liquidity, are they necessary? is it just another tool to see where a reaction could occur off, or is there more to it?

But let's see where this 4H candle closes.. for now my bias is still up but my target is still below 5100 (around 5080 -90) cause there are lots of seller above 5100.. gold will need a deeper pullback for that 5100 to be broken
4960 seems like a good and juicy support and some previous reaction went on there
If clean break that I am bearish till Fed, if not am a dip buyer
4hr close will be first step to clearer vision then next will be how Asian session reacts to it

It depend of them taking profits at specific zones or not...
Mitigate something that momentum didn't let them do it and so on...
If price is efficient is rare on gold, but if is not beeing caution with a tool called partials and Be don't hurt...

The slow bullish starts lets see if we get 5040 before reset to continue bullish to 5140 .We need to break this 5140 and hold over for 6000 price .

Now its seems the start of correction phase gold delivered a long move and now it need correction or rest may be we can see a correction of 3000pips to 5000pips but its a long story..
Tomorrow can be berish let see how tomorrow asia will play i am slightly bearish for tomorrow
If nothing happen like a war or attack or some kind of tarrif implementations..

Yeah, you need a more stable instrument if you want to trade bots and earn consistently. The only other issue with trading bots especially if they use ATR, RSI and/or MACD is that they tend to focus on the incoming data not real-time feel & experience of market movement. For example, market might have been bullish from like Sunday opening till Tuesday Asian session, then all of a sudden Trump tweets that he no longer wants Greenland then suddenly market drops, that can confuse bots & distort the stream of data. So initial the bot gets data signals for longs that suddenly data of shorts within seconds to minutes can lose you money as it needs to backtest the sudden bearish data against prior bullish data. Therefore it could shift and decide to go bearish, then market balances out and starts going bullish again, which means more money lost within a short period of hours. This is all based on last weeks events with Trump saying he won’t take Greenland by force & negotiations are on the way. In that sort of case, I would suggest setting a lot size that is half of what you would trade if you were the one opening the positions, that way it would take 2 lose to cover 1 big lose while you are sleeping.

Yeah, the TradeLocker studio is a bit tricky but once you understand it, it’s not that bad, well at least it’s better than that of CTrader

TradeLocker uses python for the coding like CTrader uses C# for the coding. I created my codes for my bots from scratch with the aid of the studio AI & ChatGPT to confirm the structure & validity of the codes. The only issue I have with TradeLocker bots is that the bot you create can only run on the computer that the code was written, I.e, it can’t be run on cloud like CTrader. So you have to have constant internet & the computer must be allows turned on, unlike CTrader that as long as I have saved the code for the bot to my account, I can’t turn the bot on & off anywhere & anytime.

As a day trader the open is my guide as the close, doesn't matter if we go bearish or bullish, as long what we trade have a long term edge.
If we open bearish we can have massive sell but i really expect to see at least price if tap 4965.895 go test 5015.630 in worst scenario test 4987.545 , but breaking below this not only is breaking Friday close as disrespecting Strong Ny.
It will be hard to believe price will follow thru 4965.895 in 4h without bulls react, but for this be more clear let's wait more 4h...
I respect closing inside gap, despite respect his mean, and for those who say that is filled, not to me and really don't care much on that, more concerned with friday close and yesterday close...

Yes same thing almost happened to me with Greenland too but since my bot don't scalp my SL had enough breathing room

Tho the initial drop took SLs of both my bot and my manual trades, but then it entered the second trade well

ATR, RSI MACD etc.. all lags or they are a bit behind which personally I think it's normal cause even when manually trading you have to be behind the price to really see what it's doing, one really don't have to catch exact tops or bottoms

Altho mine lags too obviously, it still filters most ranges except it's a very long range looking like a directional move and if it falls for that first range it won't fall for another except it's a much bigger range -> in trading language-> until previous highs for upside or previous low has clean break it won't blindly follow the randomness
Even the above isn't enough if am not very conservative, conservative trading really helped and to me it's long term so your concern is very valid, lesser risks is actually the right move when it comes to bots, edge does the rest.. many people dont know this

I will look into Trade locker more, concerning the cloud stuff, that just easy, I will create the code inside my VPS and vps is like a computer server in the clouds that is remote but always On and always connected !

If you want use them use the correct setting...
People use a lot 14 why? What the reason for that?
Which TF have 14 candles? This is the catch. Market is fractal.
Forget SMT or SMC fractals because they are not even fractals of what they are trading from, they just give better RR, the true fractal for a candle is always the TF below is the reason i know how much a day can expand without a use of ADR or ATR, and this are diferent, one include gaps and other don't.
