Lol since 2022, when GOld push UP on Open of SGE (Asian), majority of the time, Frankfurt, London, or NEw York either consolidate to move higher or simply they are forced to moved higher.

COncept like Session sweep is a thing of the past and consolidate market. It does not happen in trending market, else price continue to rise on the trajectory established by prior session, while majority keep waiting for price to "SWEEP AL".

Gold price have already move $3000 with them keep waiting.

I suggested in a previous post that based on the footprint that price would go to 5090 and then 5095 and it did in both cases - that is the Futures price which has to be adjusted to your broker price but both the prediction were correct - and based solely on futures price ... better than any guess in my book ...

DOnt mind me even i use order book an aggregated one through API. Just saying order book are not the holy grail tho nor the complete picture.

Anything else, depends of market structure.

One thing i learn in my entire trading career, you may be right, but that does not mean you will maximise your return.

As for me, if i ever were to choose between being right and get a mediocre return or being wrong and get a maximized return per pre-defined risk, i'd happy to be the wrong one.

I hear what you say about market structure BUT even more important than that IMO is TOD (Time of Day).
