Gold is currently consolidating within a rising channel after a strong impulsive move. Price is holding above the ascending trendline and the key support zone around 4930-4920 which keeps the bullish structure intact. 4965-4970 remains the immediate resistance, a clean break and hold above this zone could open the path toward 5000+ levels. However failure to reclaim this resistance may trigger a corrective pullback toward 4910-4900 before buyers step in again.
