i fixed several errors & added Alerts...
ALERTBAR = 0 --> Alerts will appear on current/unclosed candle...
ALERTBAR = 1 --> Alert will be triggered on first tick of new candle [if you're lucky, because TMA repaints if RePaint=true].
considering, that TMA is repainting on depth of HalfLength: you can try to set ALERTBAR to HalfLength.. or HalfLength/2.. or HalfLength/4.. for example...
study indicator settings and test it well...

He wanted the alert exactly where he showed in the image - and that is NOT POSSIBLE!
It's not possible, because the indicator doesn't know that the direction has already changed!!!
And if the indicator doesn't know that, we can't have an alert - unless you want an alert on every bar!!!
Which is just as stupid as an alert after 12 bars!!!
So, don't try to be: "Умнее, чем закон допускает!"

you should have carefully read, what nor888 and Tank say..
for example... i carefully read your post.. that's exactly, what i'm telling you:
to generate correct Alerts in this induk, need to exclude influence of “fake coloring” from alerts calculations…
have you looked at my code carefully?
it seems, that you don't understand structure of this code & how it works on real chart..
ExtMapGreen[i+1] and ExtMapRed[i+1] buffers are cleared retroactively, when TMA line bends, meaning previous candle is cleared..
Coloring in this induk is just visual deception...
and according to nor888's tech.task, Alert should be triggered, when TMA color changes..
and with ALERTBAR=0 = Alert will trigger essentially at close of candle on which nor888 placed Vertical line.
this means Alert will trigger on first tick of newly opened candle, even in calm market: opening/closing of candle takes milliseconds.
only thing to consider is repainting of TMA [if RePaint=true]..
therefore, there's nothing wrong w triggering Alert on current/zero candle..
and to prevent TMA repainting from significantly affecting quality of deal/order, and to catch truly good market reversal,
we can set ALERTBAR to HalfLength/3.. for example.
main mistake here is using repainting induks for market entries..
since they're only good for trend detection...but i think... nor888 will test everything himself & decide how to apply this induk to his trading system...
so... don't fool people & carefully read, what other people tell you..
and if you're in doubt = set this induk on M1-chart & test it in real time...

God Evening to all ...since 12years of study..not 100 even 1000 of methods i tried as i am not satisfied with them. But this one I feel it is god given gift. Thats why i share it unconditionally...i did not explained yet entry, exit, stop and risk management of this method...I want to see you look in to it....and understand the basic things behind creation of 7 points to frame the purely mechanical based system. I named this system name as ICS.
Can any one do simple Indicator(created based on logic of fundamental principle of supply and demand factor framed as measured move AB=CD by considering both price & time) with an alert.
I have explained very straight and clear definced rules.
