Price is trending up with higher lows and candles holding above the 20-SMA mid-band near 4318. RSI sits in the 50s. Bias remains bullish while 4H closes stay above 4318.
1H
Sideways coil just under recent highs. The 1H mid-band sits around 4330 to 4331 and acts as the intraday pivot. Upper band is near 4349. Holding above 4330 keeps the path open to squeeze toward the highs.
15M
Pullback into the lower band with RSI near 40 to 50. I read this as a bull flag pullback inside the 1H range. I want a 15M reversal back above the mid-band to time the long.
Primary trade, buy the dip into confluence
• Limit buy 4324
• Stop 4310
• TP1 4349
• TP2 4363
Logic. 4324 sits inside the 4331 to 4318 support pocket formed by the 1H mid-band and the 4H mid-band. A tag of that pocket followed by a 15M close back above 4330 confirms buyers. Move stop to break-even at 4350.
Breakout alternative if price never dips
• Buy on a 15M close above 4342, or on a clean retest hold of 4340 to 4342
• Stop 4329
• TP1 4355
• TP2 4368
Logic. That is the top of the 1H coil. A 15M close through it with band expansion signals fresh momentum.
Invalidation
The long idea weakens if a full 1H candle closes below 4330. It is invalidated if a 4H candle closes below 4318. If that happens, stand aside or look for sells into 4304 and 4288 after a 15M lower-high forms under 4330.
Fundamental color
Gold’s swings intraday are still tracking the dollar and yields. Softening US data and any bid in Treasuries usually supports dips. Hotter prints or a firm dollar can knock price back toward the 4318 mid-band. You have event icons on the 4H chart, so manage risk around releases.

Looks like they will test 4h engulf open, but by 1h is very extended...
And i don't forget 4355 yet...
Despite thursday reversal conditions are not met to me with high probability, is still thursday... That tipical when it does this aim the prior open minimun if not prior day low, but at the moment we have ema 21 as support in 1h too, so let's see...

Gap up and 4h closing bearish, more weight in 4h continuation...

Break 4320...then all be clear...imo.
