By liquidity concept i can be totally wrong and we are aiming 4249/59 a range extreme, so don't take as an advice...
I am just looking all possibilities for tomorrow.
The truth is i choked up because I got stuck halfway through 4179
Bears ended up owing me a breakeven...
Breaking above 4212.530 in 1h can also be very attractive to me aiming minimun 4226.
Gap down please...

This week i read at this forum someone saying target don't matter...
I disagree...
Everything matter for a trader...
Since the stop to the target.
What are you targeting in first place? One higher Tf objective or the Tf that you enter?
What past data says to you of that beeing hit? What RR is in average those target relative to your stop?
Is long run profitable? Win rate? Is so bad that make you fear? This is the questions that you have to make to your self. Loosing streaks etc...
I said it several times, trading is also probabilities and they are not random as market in our days also are not...
I was in your place, same fear like you have.
My solution was invert RR. I did this catching the best win rate patterns that i study and knowing them, when they most likely will not playout, what they test before the real move and not engage in the pattern it self but only at the test. That allow me to have a tight virtual stop, because the real one will not be hit.
When you assume that losses will always be part of trading you will be prepare to don't fear anymore, in my case i just cut the loss and move on, don't matter if i was right in the end. In fact is a reward to our work on trading. Ask to your self, is the pattern playing normal or don't? Why fight against if don't? Do you really know the pattern you trade?
At the end of my trades on average i only win 1/1.5% but when i loose in average is 1 quarter, half of that and that make me be confortable because i know thw win rate and even the accuracy of my targets, is not just go bullish, is really pin point that level...
Or you can do as many advice, reduce the exposure, i do it many times when market conditions are showing indecision.
Since you print money and compound, the results can not come immediately, but they will come...

Don't look at the candlestick patterns, but to the price action (open/close, H/L). Then come and tell me about the fundamentals...

My opening plan, since breakeven hit...

Bullish setup is Ny window
Bearish setup is Tuesday fractal range setup, for me a divergence here is basically my stop and my shift...

And 4203 is still possible after all as 4179 by fractal range...

4226.360 tap only 4203 target possible to fractal range setup... Eventually we can go to 4179 but will be at that time random...

Ny window is with indecision, can go both ways...
Is constant rejecting the most recent bearish and bullish candle at her high, a break of one of them the trend shift or resume.

My green box in not the close or the open, that is just random... is about Ny window.

Bias
H4 is in an active BUY that already hit TP1.
H1 is also on BUY and consolidating.
Scanner is green across M15 M30 H1 H4 D1.
So I only want longs.
Trigger on M15
Wait for a full M15 close above the triangle top around 4215 to 4217 with the scanner on M15 still strong.
Then buy on the close or on a tiny retest of 4212 to 4214.
Entry and risk
Entry 4216 to 4219.
Stop 4198 under the triangle base and lower band.
Rough R to R from 4217 entry
TP1 4249 gives about 1.8R
TP2 4269 gives about 2.9R
Targets and management
TP1 4248 to 4250. Move stop to breakeven once TP1 prints.
TP2 4268 to 4272. Trail under higher lows on M15 after TP1.
Optional runner toward 4290 if momentum stays hot.
Invalidation
If an M15 candle closes below 4195 and the scanner weakens on M5 and M15, cancel the long idea and stand aside.
Aggressive alternative
If price tags 4204 to 4206 at the triangle support and prints a strong bullish M15 candle while the scanner stays green, you can take an early bounce long.
Same stop 4195. Same targets. Use smaller size.
That is the signal. Long only after the M15 breakout above 4215 with scanner strength, stop 4198, TP1 4249, TP2 4269.

EDIT: It just didn't close below that bullish candle and then spikes? No way... It can turn bullish quickly...

How do you deal with situation in which you are expecting your loss position to clear up, market goes against you, you decide to open another position as hedge, but then the moment you hedge market moves quickly against your hedge?

If I understand correctly, with this strategy you will only have at most 2 positions (when hedged). Please correct me if I'm wrong.

However, bullish conditions is not validated too...
This is not a shift, but this 30m candle can steal my inverted RR fast... It was why i put breakeven...
Spikes to me are volume coming in...

Risk management, like i said to you early, when market conditions are indecision and something anormal is detected i reduce the exposure, the same way this spike go up can go down....

But i have a target at 4226 minimun, so if i loose don't loose much, if i win is printed money... No fear!

Ny can be aiming 4255 align with daily seek of liquidity...
I just stay for the obvious, the day will give another setups...

EDIT: But there is a if.... Tuesday fractal range is still valid, this mean 4203 in next 4h Ny time can be seek too... Now hope not... For this conditions be valid it need close above 4221.625, if tap first in 4226, i don't care anymore but that move is possible by that pattern.

Looks like tokyo will sweep up but I largely think it'll finish just above 4200 again while we wait for tomorrows high impact news. Sell order at 4225

The market is currently in a sideways range, accumulating opinions. Staying out is the best option; it should break out one way or the other tomorrow. I'll wait for the breakout/manipulation. If the first breakout is upwards, don't enter; it's a top manipulation that will return to the side range, and then manipulate the back, shifting the bias to that side, and vice versa.
