as a scalper on 1 minute i like calm waters, not to calm , i need movement, but earlier was horrible, 50 pip wicks out of nowhere in both directions, need to start avoiding those conditions better, i can look at PA i can look at volume, maybe avoid build up and post news, any other scalpers in the same boat?

Am with you in the same boat.. I generally look at the candle size and how quick the price movement goes.. Avoid it if is abnormal. we need not take risk.. we get calm waters to ride our boat

on an average 30 mins.. I keep monitoring the price fluctuations and candle size.. and once they look normal, I will start forecasting the price direction.
If it goes well, I will start taking trades in min quantities.

I see NY PM session made a liq sweep of NY AM session. Took a long trade with small quantity,, will keep positional as per your view..

Asia session high is in view now at 4217.

Anyone trading the boxes have a view on the next zone higher? A lot of open space. I'm new to using that idea. I see 4230 as a target resistance.

well up until now i havnt considered really, i wake up, asses charts, but not calmness, and yes ive been stung many times by eratic markets , but also some wins in there also, but i like it calm , so i wanna start targeting the calm waters and save me some stress
