For me, the biggest turning points in trading were learning to recognize my emotions and manage risk, and mastering key zones with pure price action. Before I was profitable, I did what everyone does chasing strategies and indicators. Once I realized indicators and strategies add noise, and that it really comes down to price action/ key zones, risk, and emotions, everything flipped. Clean chart, minimal noise.There are a thousand strategies that work but they only work in the hands of traders who control emotion and risk.

As Sibish says: trade with a slice of profits and stick to that slice to protect capital. Don’t trade range markets unless you’re a scalper. I don’t stare or use 1M/5M. I use M15 only as an entry trigger (some use M5) and the chart i use to trade is M30. Exits are about emotional control: you can have a perfect sniper entry and still lose with poor risk/emotion management, while someone with a worse entry but strong risk/emotion control can finish green. Also, don’t watch others too much. If you’re short and the forum screams buy, you’ll doubt yourself that doubt is emotion. You’ll exit, then watch price go your original way and end up chasing. Always study what the market is doing now and what it did before past prices get respected in the future.

One more thing: if you place a trade, look at your SL, and you instantly feel stress, your risk is wrong. Your SL and position size are right when you could literally go to sleep after placing them. If your SL makes you lose sleep, you sized it badly. Personally I don’t use take profit ( some of my robots do they don’t have emotions). Why no TP? Because your brain fixates on the TP. If you feel greed, close the trade greed wants more, and more usually ends with less. Take what the market gives. Keep it simple. The simpler and quieter your process, the better your trading will go.Journal your bad trades and especially the emotions you felt in the moment.
Every weekend, review the week to analyze what you missed or could’ve recognized sooner.

open mt5 and see i accidently pressed sell five times (0.25) at 4086 and got 100 pips idek how that happened pure 100% luck out of no where and to think i was about to take a nap without checking it
