this happens all the time that’s why i always draw boxes, never a single s/r line
a box marks a zone because price can poke just below or above and slip back in, the zone still counts
when i started trading i saw this constantly but i was busy hunting a rule-based strategy and indicators

and you spotted that well, Ashley
sellers stopped at 4155–4147 and buyers said nope we’re not going back to range city
they pushed right back up from roughly 4147 past resistance and the spot where buyers broke 4147–4141 on nov 12
but we still need to be careful because up to 4242 there are plenty of sellers after yesterday’s push down from 4242

so we might see from here to 4220 but I think a bit of a drop before heading there

no entry in this area, just waitting now, it will be a seek and destroy fryday, dont want to join this hole, actually 10kpips range is quite nice for scalp

you’re welcome ashley, if you watch one chart long enough you start to see a story play out
what are buyers doing, what are sellers doing, how strong are buyers, how strong are sellers, which prices are buyers defending and which prices are sellers defending
the chart is a movie and just like a movie you only know what comes next by keeping your eyes on it and thinking about what happened earlier to follow the storyline, that’s how you start to recognize a lot
we can see 4220 for sure, we can even see 4242 again, you can clearly see buyers trying to push back up after sellers drove it down yesterday
it all depends on how well buyers keep pushing at the key zones, right now that’s 4218–4210
if buyers can hold above 4218 they’ll try for 4242 again, now it depends on how many sellers are sitting between 4242, 4218, and 4210
