Lets Go!..trading live but starting to build from 1 contract and adding another contract after my interpretation of Ichi proves itself.

Starting to implement my MM(BE is 1st part) right about now.

This is my last posting here, unless I see some sort of contributions. I love Japanese techniques and came back to Ichi after few years and it is one of my 3 strategies I trade.

I am on my 2nd trade today, moved SL to BE already.

It does seem like a comprehensive method. There are a fair amount of moving parts. I'd like to use it in a simplified, scaled down configuration for a while. Any flips against the Tenken are at a minimum a reason to take notice and reassess current conditions.

Having said scaled down version, trading against the cloud seems like something you don't really want to undertake. I mean there are enough opportunities to not have to swim against that current.

I recommend to use a comprehensive method, every average is there for a reason to steer you the "right way". Remember, entry is not that important.

I also concur wit this thought. Ichi is the filter, PA is the signal. Everyone's interpretation will vary.

Hello Everyone,

I stayed silent over the past couple of weeks or so as this simplified Ichimoku method wiped my FTMO account clean and nearly destroyed my Topstep account as well. Maybe it's just me or the timeframes/instruments I traded but it was brutal and it took a toll on me mentally.

Anyway, I couldn't find a way to delete the thread but I do hope you guys find it useful if it is kept alive, in some shape or form.

I am now trading a completely different and simpler method nothing to do with Ichimoku. I am already up 2000+ dollars with it on both my cash account and on Topstep, it seems to be working very well indeed, provided I have enough patience to wait for A+ setups (my biggest weakness).

Should this continue I will consider opening another thread to record my journey with it. But for now, take care and see you as and when.

If its a different method, I suggest start a new thread. That's just my opinion.
