Good Morning fellow XAUUSD traders.

Some observations - XAUUSD has been range-bound.
Simply following the 15 minute chart has been the best bet this week, top to bottom, bottom to top.
I find this is often the case, you really only need two trades for the day.

So far today 4100->4132

I expect it to top out around 4140-4150 and then reverse back to 4100 ish, will see if the pattern repeats.

Next bigger moves maybe with news later this week, if there is any news what with the dysfunctional American government.

i think tongiht weill breach 4140 and shoot at 4200

[prioce will go lower guys my buy area is around 4100 ~ 4110 lets reload. get ready price is coming down again and touch those area

Hi, old friend. I quitted GBP/USD. I checked it long term and found out that it is with GBP/CAD and GBP/CHF unfortunately the most less predictable currency out there, may be below 80 Pips moves you can make some money but I stopped that. I see you go for gold. I think gold has some nice opportunities since 1 year due to rising market, so inefficiencies rise and you can exploit that. Problem I have with Gold is, that gold one day (may be in 2 years) will be off again, means market will be more efficient again. I don't like unstable environments in expectancy of my profit factor ratio. So I'm curious how your trades in gold are going?

Are you currently better trading gold than GPB/USD? Would support my thesis. Kind Regards

hello mate its been a while! I moved to gold due to its crazy ass moves but also because compare to GPB/JPY its a bit more stable (feels like that was on crack) , found GU quite slow

So made decent money on Gold, but also lost a fair bit too overall am just about in profit over the year mainly due to the losses on GBPJPY
Once gold settles down i might stick to it for around 20(0)-50(0) pips a day which would be ample to live on.
