After watching that, I want to understand which statement is regarded as hawkish. The reason I am asking is because from what I understand, employment data is bad which should be dovish.

When i talk abiut stubborn...thats me...lol . I am a man who buy at 4350 stop out at 4330 last tuesday when massive drop.Welcome to the club then ...ha ha

I myself learn from you too. Your layers play was so beautifull....ha ha.

Congrats when you got better price to build long...very nice. The low was mentioned by @Deal 3914 when he quotes me....So thanks to him too

Conclusion: Sometimes we are just a group that find missing of puzzle we needed from others.

The tariff talks with China are not positive; a lot of spin on it so far, on truth social, lot of capitals "IT WAS AMAZING DEAL" but no outcome so far, soybean and fentanyl - they will be disappointed, it's not over.

Maybe, no news left to push it further down. US-China meeting and its expected positive news are realized. FED decision risk is gone (even with some uncertainty about Dec rate cut, but it was actually also expected (I mean deliberate ambiguity by Powell)).

Now, we are left again with naked realities (nuclear tests, ongoing arms race, uncertainty about shutdown etc.) Also, announcement of the end of QT by FED is gold bullish imho.

But, I am still sidelined. Not convinced yet bullish revival.

This article has comments from Senior investment people, it shows how they think and consider the language - it's more language than jobs are down from data. Interpreting from Powell's language is Fed likely to be restive or less restrictive in December

ok, you say “not financial advice, just posting” but most of the things you post that sound professional are basically the same explanations other people gave, just in your own words. that’s not building your own system yet, that’s repeating.
and here’s the main thing: when you start asking other people “what SL did you use?”, that already tells a lot. it usually means you don’t have your own plan yet and you’re still unsure about risk. if you really had a clear setup, you would already know where your invalidation is and you wouldn’t need someone else’s stop.
that’s not bad it just shows you’re still in the learning phase. just own that. it’s way better to say “i’m still figuring out SL placement” than to post like a pro and then ask basic risk questions.
so don’t one day say “i’m new, i made a mistake with SL” and the next day talk like a full naked price action trader. that’s confusing for you and for the people who read you.
i’m saying this with love, not to put you down. i know this will probably hit a bit, but maybe it will help you see where you really are right now. stay in the student phase a bit longer that’s how you actually get good.

As far as I know, rare earths are common around the world but so far many countries didn't invest enough to mine and process them, probably because it was quite cheaper to just buy from China. And in a world of hostile int relations, it become suddenly vulnerability for the West. US is making a lot of effort now to produce those rare earths in his country and/or at allies. It is possible but they need some time. In the meantime, it seems that they hope that China will be weakened with tariffs. And also, it looks that Trump is trying to get Putin in his side against China (considering his efforts in peacemaking at Ukraine), but so far not much success.

And China is buying time to close gap at high-tech race stuff like chips, AI, space things before total war.

If Trump's claims about Fentanyl is correct, it is very ironic indeed. It means that China is taking revenge of Opium Wars from US.
