Kinda sucks you didn’t get the buy limit / sell limit placed in time, because that would’ve shown how your broker actually fills you under stress. That’s the part I was curious about.
One thing I wanted to ask: how did you check slippage if you didn’t actually get an order placed? I get how you can watch the spread live during the spike, but slippage (for me at least) is when you ask for one price and you get filled worse. So I usually only know that after I’m actually in a position. If you’ve got another way you’re measuring it without being in the trade, I’d like to hear it.
Either way, there’s gonna be more FOMC / big news days, so plenty chances to test it again
Always priority #1: focus on the chart and execution first forum can wait. Trading and testing come before posting.

Its pretty simple what gold did. It tapped the daily fvg faced rejection and is continuing its downtrend atleast for D1. If on Thursday price manages to break Tuesdays low we might see continuation of the trend. Thats just what im reading this chart as of now. Things should be much clearer after Trump & Xi's discussion

Price start the shift at 4028 and confirmed at Ny breakout.
But that's ok, a price given pre news is random, keep believing on that.
For tomorrow no NY bias, today Ny is extended and we have Tuesday NY resisting so far...

At that time i have 2 runner buy...by read his quotes and do some sort analysis...i close that trade. His intention is good and sincere. Thanks for his good advice
