It’s pretty obvious what’s happening . The top 1- 10% are becoming richer via the asset bubble ( equity market) whilst the 90% majority subside the bubble , via inflation and tariffs .

It’s wealth distribution at its finest in a capitalist economy who cares entirely for a minority demographic . I appreciate 401k are market linked however they are based on maintaining the valuations at the time of redemption .

Trumps only concern is the stock market , thats his Achilles heel and China know this .

So how is this "deal" putting U.S. in a better place than it was before January 20th? All that's being talked about is going back to square one (well, sort of - he's not going to cancel all of the tariffs placed on China this year, just change his mind on the new potential 100% or WTF number he just pulled out of his fat orange ass). Not to mention that none of these so called deals are binding in any way. After all, he backed out of the deal he signed with Canada and Mexico, just because.

Fun fact: making trade deals, economic policies or creating new taxes (yes, tariffs are import taxes) is entirely illegal for the executive branch to initiate unilaterally. Not that it's ever stopped them, just sayin' - but the matter is now going up to Supreme Court shortly of course, as expected.
