Oh, yes! An excellent idea. Imagine the splendor: instead of a "circle of hysterical women" (such a medical and accurate definition, by the way), we could have a leader who:

Resolves international crises with the power of ALL-CAPS tweets and personal insults. A veritable "keyboard diplomacy," far more effective than boring summits.

Proposes brilliant geopolitical solutions like buying Greenland or building a wall... well, perhaps through the Alps? To keep out... the overly intrusive Swiss tourists?

Awards himself the Nobel Peace Prize with the same nonchalance as ordering a hamburger. "One Nobel for me, please. And make it well-done." It would be the first-ever "Nobel-issimo" Prize, self-awarded and with extra ketchup.

Would replace boring climate summits with masterclasses on the art of calling weather forecasts "hoaxes" when you don't like them.

What a spectacle it would be! Europe would finally have the media chaos and geopolitical unpredictability it so sorely lacked. No, thank you, I much prefer our "hysterical circle": at least they usually know where the summits are held and don't try to buy Luxembourg to turn it into a golf course.

Of course they would not be persuaded, but Trump's defective frontal cortex obviously thinks it may have designed to. Or something. I'm not sure, it would not have occurred to me. It is his modus operandi.

About a month or so ago I read a bit of his actual submission to the Sup Ct on the tariffs case to be heard in the fullness of time, and a lot of it was just waffle rather than anything legally substantive.

Some might be interested that the original 13th amendment which was passed by Congress in 1810 but did not receive ratification by three quarters of the states.

It was called the Titles of nobility amendment, and forbade anyone to be bestowed with any royal titles, eg, King, Prince, Baron etc.

It was incorporated in some early printings of the Constitution. I imagine that the remaining copies would be fairly valuable by now.
