Oh and about the NATO expansion - again check history facts, NATO concept and learn from the history who is expanding and how? NATO does not recruit anyone. Countries want become voluntarily NATO members exactly because of what Russia is doing. Neither NATO nor EU uses military force to make anyone a member, while Russia invades their neighbors, imposes their own language and culture, kills everyone who doesn't obey and doesn't accept that and expands further. This is the very reason why NATO expands. Capiche? Who needs a brain now? Go find some!

There is no way you are Australian. Russia has not accomplished anything militarily in over 20 years of fighting wars. Since time has been, Russia's tactics have been run in that direction, never evolved, they fire big guns and then run in that direction, they have no planning, no command structure, no logistics, the air force has been useless, the Navy wiped. If ukraine had full unrestricted use of West weapons, Russian forces would have been destroyed.
Ukraine have been incredible in this and we all should have helped them more

Ukraine should be going backwards, you outnumber them by 3:1, in some paces 6:1 but you still have only succeeded in over 3 years a small slice of land in the east. The traffic jam / roadblock to Kiev was the most farcical ridiculous attempt at being an army

Plus I understand that a while ago they also brought in the Nth Korean army for some extra bodies. I haven't heard any news about that for quite a while.

Yes this is the exact reason why Putin attacked Ukraine. All other fairy tails about NATO expansion and protecting the russian speaking is complete BS. I speak Russian and I have been many times in Ukraine. I was even married to a beautiful Ukrainian girl. I have never seen anyone being afraid for his life because of speaking Russian. They all speak Russian because they was part of USSR after the WW2, but they have their own language and their own culture. However I can't speak Ukrainian. I did speak Russian every time I was in Ukraine and nobody hated me for that. Beautiful, smart and free-loving people. This is what Putin is afraid of, but he will never manage to put these people on their knees. That much I know what the Ukrainians are made of.

which weapons would help Ukraine win??? they gave everything they had to Ukraine. the West's weapon stockpiles are empty - Russia has won by making new weapons faster

Half the globe belongs to Russia.. Why does it need more territory? However, it has a duty to protect the millions of Russians living in Ukraine from nationalist Ukrainians.. What would the USA do if only a few thousand Americans were subjected to such an atrocity as the Russian minority has been subjected to since 2014? It even bombed the Yugoslavs immediately when the Serbs turned against the minority#not because of its own..So the Russians have had enough of this..And now the West is threatening them with its missiles, not the other way around.. NATO doesn't want to surround Russia anymore, they have the right to a neutral zone..So much for aggression..
