Nice touch to 4008 i miss that buy, actually i set SL too small and spread kill me, my range same to you, 4157 - 4008, an breakout of 4225 then whole thing will go straight up again. But whole asia session seem to push price to lower side and then back to where it was lol, that mean asia want to hold 4008 dont know if NY want to hold 4157 or not... But weak top already set, possible an push from 4090 will available (i guess it will drift to 405x or 408x, after today D1 confirm only), for longer term i still want to buy if W1 stay above 4008. But it need much accumulation to get back to the high 0.0. For a thrust below that 4008 level, then the whole thing collapse again till 394x -.-

I like pivots... Check the charts... One is Daily pivots (pivot prices are similar to yours). The other is H4 pivots. Do you think that H4 pivots are valuable and can be used in trading? if yes, any idea how?

Iit's been oversold just like the dot com bubble.

Not sure about the doom thing though - you're an old guy / girl aren't you? I've seen several; they're always bad, people lose savings, homes, normal people always suffer the worst. THe UK house cost is supposed to be due the rich become richer everytime there's a crash.

oops thanks God i was not here and my buy was closed after hitting SL. Till today gold has never moved in one direction like this almost 3000pips in a day. The way it broke every support no one could even imagine. But its also true that if no support could stop it then no resistance can stop it either if it keeps moving like this.
For the last few days gold has been moving more than 1000 pips and its range has increased. What happened yesterday was unbelievable even for sellers. I know many sellers took small trades step by step because no one knew how far it would fall.
Anyway today is a new day those who bought from the bottom are in a good position. In my opinion gold will now move upward, though no one knows how far, it depends if there is no big news. The first target is 4200 and if it breaks properly then 4250. I think gold might stay in a range between 4000 and 4400 for some time.

i dont use H4 pivot 0.0 it is non-sense to use that with me, and mostly strong position at W1 and MN pivot with overlap D1 or each other, it will be better way to use pivot. H4 is unreliable. Do looking for PA at the location of pivot, you will get reward. Big money dont come quick, it come from accumulation need patience, small money can scalp quickly, but too risky

Nothing on Reuters this morning, apart from journalist speak for WTF!

Elsewhere, the sudden dive in gold was the main focus for investors, after prices of the yellow metal sank more than 5% on Tuesday despite no obvious catalyst. It was last nursing losses and trading 0.1% higher at $4,127.22 an ounce.

The precious metal has had a blockbuster run this year, climbing more than 50% as broader geopolitical and economic uncertainty, as well as expectations of U.S. interest rate cuts, spurred demand for the safe-haven asset.

"Gold was massively stretched, massively overbought. There's been a lot of FOMO (fear of missing out) going into that market," said Tony Sycamore, a market analyst at IG.

coincide or not....4200 around is the middle of the range.....

I'm not disagreeing but futures have taken there position with regard to cuts being very likely - 97.3% chance for a cut

If CPI prints where expected (forecasted) - there will hardly be a reaction, it's down same sagin, just making that cut more likely which at 97.3% nothing really new.

If it goes up by a lot - we could have fireworks but down, or down, to go up then down

So, just a friendly note of caution, don't just sell from it
