Exactly that. If that was the case stocks wouldn't rally either.

This fear mongering is just dumb. It's not the days of gold standard anymore. Fiat currencies are shit, so everyone is happily borrowing them. And the cost of borrowing is reflected as inflation to us average people. Simple as that. The rich are dining and the poor is paying the check. No doomsday scenario needed, well, it's doomsday everyday for the poor anyways

USD is selling off while Gold and stock market are breaking records just bc FED is easing, markets are betting for more inflation to come since FED is easing prematurely. Inflation well over 2 percent, but FED is downplaying it, focused more on the labor market and economic activity.

It's a double edged sword indeed, if they were to not cut they could be risking a recession, but you cannot bring the inflation down if you are not cooling the economy after all.

Gold will go higher tho, i disagree with the last part

If you are long and think gold is going much higher, then protect yourself with hedges, puts, stops, etc. You don’t want to end up in an unhedged long when the very large drop eventually occurs.

Honestly no idea what you are saying or who you are talking to.

I guess you’re are saying the trend in your friend, yes, that’s true, and it’s also obvious. No one is suggesting shorting gold so your post makes no sense.

Gold, silver, and stocks are currently unstoppable, it’s idiotic to short them because they have shown zero signs of going down. Once they do turn, it will most likely be a big turn, but no one knows if that’s 2 days or 2 years from now. But the point was, people are not buying gold because of debt.
