From Emas to Gann to Time price cycle, even my fibs are different to what i use.. the one the other day you asked about googling, well good luck with that you wont find anything .. it was discovered .. you will see how that VWAP will dance reject and carry on .. see it play in action..

For me if you guys will trade at daily basis, sessions is all you need.
Beginning for first understand sessions and what they do at daily basis.
There are many concepts out there and study them should be a principle, then try to read by your own eyes, understand by your own perspective and not from others.
When time pass, your experience grow you will all notice just by the visual representation of candles that something is not playing smooth and is where you should be alert.
I do not disagree fundamentals move the market in long term, the way it move price that i disagree in daily basis, already said it before, is by repetitive actions aka algos..
When this rarely are not seen is when volatility kicks in in particulary Ny session. And should be the time for us let the market settle is course.
Does anyone here see positive news or negative news not playing as it should? Of course you all saw. Nothing to do with fundamentals or where they are driving the price at long term...
For me is hard to understand the admiration of such big candles in daily, weekly or monthly... My trade is not complicated, but one of my support and said it here before, prior candle matters, and how to measure that volatility.
For instance, and now not talking about accumulation/distribuition/redistribuition, but just by last month, why bearish kick in? It reaches the same pips more or less than last month. If is a take profit zone, i don't know, can be reversal too. Works like an overbought or overbough indicator. Doesn't mean is a sell or buy signal. The diference between the indicator is that is possible to pinpoint the price zones when price can be stoped or confirm continuation.
And again just a simple price representation that can be done with the correct fractal TF.
Anyone want to know if this is a reversal? By my experience it is not! Just a pullback for this month.
Because i ask you all how many times you guys in a Monthly chart saw a candle like this month turning bearish or a pinbar? 10%??? Maybe... Ok it can end a less than 60% body that tipical show us first clue of indecision at that time.
I can enter in a trade bearish, not necessary because bias change, is because sessions are rotating and can be permanent or not and just by visual representation of price since higher TF to the lowers we can measure a minimim move and it is what i do at daily basis, i do not grant anything but i know i am consisting in my targets, thanks to sessions, one or 2 algos identified in lower Tf and volatility of prior candles. Then is trust in your own setups, that make you profit aligned.
Don't be afraid to follow it! And don't change never because someone come here barguing is 100% a price that is opposite of yours.
What it matters is the long run...
Don't be fooled by post profits... You never know how many losses there were before until that person post the profits.
That is easy, dificult is in advance proof you are right...
Bias to monday for me is a quick bearish run and maybe a resume of the trend, it will all depend how much the run it will be...
By daily and last 20 days pattern we reject the upper band, so most likely a continuation. Nothing granted...
Yes! my tools can be others, use what you learn with confluence...Is how i use mines, not for have sure of anything, but have probabilities in my side.

Well said Deal.. session structure really is the heartbeat of every market. Everyday begins and ends with those rotations.. Asia sets the tone, London defines the range, and New York decides who gets paid. You are absolutely right that recognizing those rhythms gives a trader control over timing and volatility.

Where I tend to go one layer deeper is in understanding why those sessions behave the way they do. The repetition we see on the charts isnt random.. it’s the reflection of liquidity being recycled through repo operations, yield adjustments, and institutional flow rebalancing. When you see New York reject a London high, thats not just candles.. its global money shifting from risk on to risk off. In todays fast pace world ROI is nearly a myth and RORO has taken place.

For me, thats where tools like footprint and order flow volume profiles come in... they show the micro behaviour of a macro engine. The algos don’t just move because it’s time for New York.. they move because something fundamental has changed in liquidity conditions or cross asset hedging and thats what I trace in my charts.

For everyone reading.. this is the part of trading most overlook. Its not about deciding who is right or wrong in bias, but learning to merge timing (sessions, algos, volatility) with context flows, yields, positioning. Thats how traders evolve from reactive to anticipate. If one notices on my daily, I look for initial balance focusing on the first hour of the market open, then other key areas through out the day.. you have to build a narrative on what the market is doing.. How global liquidity is changing hands.

Great discussion, and respect to you for highlighting the importance of sessions. Theyre the foundation of everything that follows. My angle just focuses on what powers the foundation itself.

Be interesting to see how we open today. There was a pretty decent move up after the lows of the day. Was it a correction I’m not sure, there is scope to reclaim 4300 again if not tomorrow later on in the week. Geopolitical concerns may aid the move up.

However that can be done too by just visual representation of candles and if people study sessions like i am beeing insisting a long time they will see what i mean.
Is not a thing that can be teached. But exists price patterns so repetitive particulary at London and Ny that with time they will find out what price going to do next and the exact price to kick in as they do...
When i refer to Ny or London i am not refering all entire sessions, is more about what i call time windows and had refine mine with hours of studying.
Was original mine? No they weren't but today they are similar but not the same.
We have to do our part too, rely on us not in others.
You have been posting specific prices zones that i notice that not differ from mines, you with your tools, i with open and closes of candles and when i see more than 80% the process repeat i can not see it as random.
I didn't understand yet why fail the others 20% sometimes less, but keep working to figure it out.

No need to fight, gap up, exposure reduced to half, and now let it play...
Or loose half position or win half position, don't gonna give up of the first setup.
The loss is not gonna be full if it happen.

When our setup is not like we see most of the times, there are no need to be exposed the same way.
And this is very palpable when we are accustomed to it daily.

In 1H TF this is the price i really do not want to see a close above... 4273.81
Is the Friday kick Ny bearish.
The close be broken in lower TF is already a bad sign, this open is the last barrier.
The reason i do not close with tiny loss is because the bullish pattern doesn't tap my stop by few points and the times i saw this pattern playing out alive by just 1 point is hilarious sometimes.
That high 80/85% of the times are protected.
Friday offer sellside, but no one knows if they gonna take it...


EDIT: Aonda give me 4274.130, other price was pepperstone, and in 3 brokers we had diferrent gaps up or down, looking to one broker only is not wise, understand that not long ago... Sometimes is the diference of a winning trade or a loosing one. In this kind of trading where open and closes matter...

All of this tracking price by open/close of a specific sessions without guessing.
Is the main reason i said this can not be teached, people should study London and Ny that respects more specific prices than Asia.
I still believe Asia is more a complement of Ny than other thing, in reference to Gold of course, is the only i trade.
It is a misunderstanding for many people to use a pattern just because someone said it works, but they probably didn't say where or exclusively.
