Gold Market Update and the New Record High at $4379.88

Gold opened the day at $4,329.48 and pushed to a record high of $4,379.88, marking strong early momentum.

The Rule of the First Hour (Initial Balance) I take by marking the first high and low..

High at: $4,379.40
Low at: $4,341.69** (See Edit notes Below)
That gives us a $31 Initial Balance range, which is relatively wide signaling high volatility and algorithmic aggression right from the start.

At 2:30 AM (GMT+3 my time), the Sydney/Tokyo algo window activates, typically defining the days core trading range. This lasts about one hour window (until 3:30 AM GMT+3). This often determines whether we will see continuation or mean reversion setups later during the London Session (LS) and New York Session (NY).

Avoid chasing the early breakout. The market is still calibrating its liquidity map with what happened yesterday as no market was able to contain the move, we experienced a minor pullback and then continuation and this means we are now following the RISK ON /RISK OFF momentum. Use this time to mark your high/low zones, VWAP shifts, and session overlaps.

The market tone has changed this week liquidity is thin, and algorithms are driving most of the movement. Traditional ROI metrics are becoming meaningless until central banks address the funding squeeze which I really doubt will happen successfully, a game too late. The upcoming Washington policy meetings could be critical. Expect volatility spikes and watch for liquidity traps around highs. attached is a chart of VIX (Volatility Indicator) which highlights that we on October 10th have broken through a structure and volatility is here to stay and US100 which broke its market structure to the down side.. and now testing a key level.. My take is not to try and short this market as this is purely fundamental.

Price can keep continue to upper high, yesterday night price already test for an overextend of W1, therefore it could go straight up to 4k4 of MN target soon. Waiting for sign of buy, price need a new base at this location, price movement still very strong to upward. well aware of 4442...

No gap on futures, but big daily candle


Good tip: If you ever see futures gap, I don't think I've ever seen a day where it is not bullish / bearish for day in the direction the of gap - see yesterday and its gap

And it quite often gaps in futures but not spot and spot follows, its a good habit to check this

This guy is saying gold will go to ALL TIME LOW in months or a year
($20 is all time LOW known to this date)

Price currently at crucial level, if 4264 lost then price could start a big correction move, if it hovering above this level, then a new base created... and price could no longer can see 3k level
