Same with 120& daily ATR (14) and daily 61.8% extension Tokyo bank holiday isnt' it?

I chalenge you to check past data any Ny bias breaked before Ny midnight to see what it can do in daily basis.

I don't care about trumps, news, having into account ok, i might have nothing more.
I rely in probabilities of some patterns that i found playing out. If this Break was after midnight NY i know that price will not be explosive, so beeing explosive you can get paid, manage the trade and go sleep confortable and still having plan B if don't playout at the end...
I have no problem price hit breakeven now,, as long respect the initial 50% i will enter again, break, i short, simple.

Is not complicate when you know where problems can happen, and that price was not new for me, was given here too, so partials... The same apply on inverse side.
I always count price can go both ways, nothing is granted!

EDIT: Also don't be surprise comeback to 4017.315 again, and is not because is near the DO, is because is the close of Thursday supply... Safe trades!

Makes sense or not, it's just an aid for judgement, not a critical make or break decider for trading.

How many days make it to 200% of any ADR? The percentage is quite low, but anything that can happen, will happen recently!

Please don't talk about anything else without beeing relative to price... Please..
Another higher resistance mention here...
Don't have expectations, follow price in first place or more time than not people don't trade...

1. The challenge about NY breaked? I don't understand.

2. Complicate things? That's how you see it, I'm just looking at the chart, reading the price, how far it moved, compare it too historical data, pretty easy.

3. Patterns? They work for you, that's great.
It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

Sure, I can talk about price, but no drama please, are you saying that you trade from that daily chart?

Or daily can give your idea about what trades to take?

Because scalper looks at this chart, say 5-minutes, with the daily candle on the right for guidance?

Where are your entry and direction?

Your historical data is based in what?
Do you want another reason why retracing?
You just don't know... i Already give you two prices that could stop the price at that zone, forget 4056...

And i chalenged you to go check the same historical data you mention, but based in Ny.
I don't need luck... I now what can stop price, is not ATH or Highs or lows...
First place price respect deviations, second open and closes of specific times more than daily opens or closes if you are a day trader.
For day trader you will not take great advantages trading based in that price as reversal points, it may look it is but looking closer is not.
For me at the moment i wish price break my original 50%, is more accurate lol
And days with 200% ATR, uiiiiii a lot... You are trading GOLD!

Last completed hour candle at 1h chart is scary for bulls but still I have a feeling that we will break ATH today. I decreased my position size but still keep some longs.

4h chart looks promising though for targeting 4100

Before quoting me read my previous posts, and maybe you know what i was talking about...
All explained, the trade, the walls on the way and so on...
If i trade based in ATR my trade tp was 4056 most likely, but i consider is not consistency on gold.
If ATR work consistency everyone won money on trading...
They can have reactions, no doubts sometime does as can simple follow thru...
I relly in proven hight probability patterns and when they are from Ny, a play before NY midnight all of them are just explosives...

Erebus posted about being at ADR already, I post its at ATR (14)
Then you question about probabilities, which ADR and aTR is all about, previous probabilities, that's the whole point of ADR ATR, it's a line it might react to.

You're posting a fib extension from the daily, I think you're saying its going down and because Erebus said its gone up so quick, he thinks it will continue?

But he was merely stating an observation of how quick?

Its reacted twice now to daily ATR 14, I've made 200 pips from it in 1 hour

Nop... Was exactly the opposite!
I said should going up, and he just quote me good luck because reach ADR or ATR, for me just the same thing pratically, don't use them, don't rely on them, prefer volatility...
If i am rude, is just because don't like beeing quoted without read all the picture...
Because if he read should know that i am well aware what can stop price and sure is not none of those reasons.
But that's ok... The way to not be rude is just, say nothing.
When people want to argue with such reasons, is really a waste of time be here analising step by step...
People have the tendency not read all...

Good luck using that... Sure it is not more than 50% but if you both like it, go for it...

I use ATR / ADr and I only snips bits from my screen, because its a big screen resolution - so I snip it small. So, it may look like its all I use but I use others, market sessions., majority based on volume tick analysis. Admittedly that ATR line its also at New York high of session from Thurday, previous volume points of controls from all of last week.

Everything I do, is based on probabilities; I won't change a single thing without backtesting.

Gold being a nice dick at beginning of the week, obvious trying to breakout with multiple buy signal in LTF, yet selling sign still strong, rejection from 4060, and today is holiday of multiple bank => low liquidity day => can not breakout properly then well beware of false breakout
