Polarity is under being tested.... It may change to bear side or bull may retake the control. It's difficult to trade to amateurs like me. It's also NY session where all the professionals come and work for their job. Better walk away until the polarity setup completes.

GOLD Observations

There was a very Efficient Climb up today followed by a very Inefficient Drop in Price through New York Session.
Like your Post above, you need to find a Time to Trade that you feel Comfortable with.
Personally I sleep through most of the Asian Session and feel most comfortable Trading from 06.00 UK to 13.00 UK when Volatility isn't too much of an issue

Stuck in the middle... May be not very easy day to trade. 1H 200 EMA and 4H 50 EMA could be tested sooner or later.....

Not very good today. 1 BE + 1 loss at early session. 2 BE right before after came back from having some sleep. PA is not as smooth as yesterday's....
Still DEMO trading. Time in the pic is NY time.

Looks bearish pressure is coming... challenging major MAs (50 and 200 EMA to me) in major TFs is not very good idea to amateurs like me....

Hi Justin,
I have been back Testing GOLD on the 5 Min. Chart using the same process as I have been using on the 1 Min. Chart.
It's looking very Promising and a lot easier than the 1 Min. Chart
Stop after one Positive Trade if the first Trade loses, take a Maximum of two Trades a Day
Give it a Test and see what you think

Thank you very much for your input. Yes, higher TFs could show me bigger pictures and it would help me not lost in the woods. I always watch 1, 5, 15 and 1H charts during the trade. 50 and 200 EMAs in major TFs are really working as important S/R. Drawback of trading based on 5M chart could be higher SL cost. Gold is already too expensive to trade. Unless I trade mini or micro size gold, trading 5M chart would be very scary to me. To be honest, for test purposes I am digging far down to micro levels like 10, 20 or 30 seconds charts and putting various MAs to capture the trend early. It was impossible to Nat Gas trading as it has very thin liquidity especially during outside of NY session. My view is applying PA reading technic into the direction of trend is much easier to amateurs like me. Anyway, please keep posting your charts. Hindsight charts are also fair enough. Don't bother posting real time charts now. We all know you are real and a very profitable trader.

It's yesterday's 1M gold chart. I think the two areas with yellow box were easiest area to trade. Check with EMA rainbow or Guppy in various TFs. Yes, it's hindsight view and my goal is finding it in real time. Let me see if it's possible.

I am slowly building some confidence playing with DEMO trading. Limiting trades by EMA contraction could give some positive result. I may restart trading using a prop firm account early from next week....

It looks it's stuck again. Choppy consolidation is expected. I will wait until price clearly breaks down below 1H 50 EMA. Price moves very fast in DOM with a wider spread. Market looks somewhat nervous now. Be careful....

Perhaps the first and the last trade for today. I had some unpleasant personal thing to handle today and couldn't focus on trading....
By the way, I started trading using Daytraders prop firm eval account from today. Made it quick to start it from a winning trade...
Nothing new. PA reading from EMA contraction.

I saw two decent opportunities so far today but I haven't taken any. For the first one, I wasn't available. Even if I was, not sure I would have taken it as it barely met my criteria. For the second one, it was counter trend trade and I was hesitating. Currently gold is stuck between 1H 50 EMA and 200 EMA. Perhaps not easy to trade I guess....
