Gold price is showing a strong bullish momentum, currently trading around $4,040. The chart indicates that buyers are still in control after breaking above previous resistance near $4,010–$4,020. A short-term correction may occur around this level before the next potential upward move. The structure suggests a possible continuation toward $4,070–$4,080, where the next major resistance lies. this is why most equity index are in whip saw while gold has a smooth curve because gold is the base for all equity transactions

might be at the end of the upwards move for this session, now a potential ranging time till NYO, also no data or news planned either. FOMC minutes might help push it further up but if there is something about the shitdown and how the fed wont cut rates until they have the data like NFP etc we may see a slight drop..

like to add though as we are at the top end of the band we could see a move to 4050 this session . no triggers in place for a corrective move at all

I will prefer to short if break of H1 below 4030 with target of 3995.
Now no buy scene.
I was expecting actually break above 4000 and short around 4020 yesterday, with target fall upto 3940

The US shutdown currently gives good buy probabilities for GOLD. Negatively for lots of currencies, but for JPY, it is likely a rising sun.

What we have to do, just respect what prices are doing. Keep buying GOLD for the US shutdown. Don't forget Goldman Sachs' forecast for early 2026 and also Trump's 5K/oz GOLD targeting.
