3920 could be a spring board for a move towards the days highs. However as we saw last week too that the NY session can be bearish (due to the shutdown)

I have a small sell position open at 3943....which has given me my TP & I've moved to breakeven. If it retraces, I'll be looking for another sell entry

Yupp.. I remember it..
You said 3717 must hold and only break of it should start short term selling.
And as I posted here as well that I was having a buy limit at 3717 which doesn't got filled

Everyone's heard this story a thousand times...
Because most retail traders lose money sooner or later. They buy high and sell low. They lack the discipline to wait for the right moment to buy or sell.
While things are going well, they believe they've discovered the silver bullet. The worst is when confidence is so high that they start to neglect position size and so on, and market rotations in the blink of an eye.
Sometimes i feel pain to see so many people buying high, but each to their own choices.
We're in a bullish market, but it's not necessary to buy high, just be patient for a better RR.
If the train left without us, is life.

And another warning, more times than not Ny will rotate at least 1 quarter measure from his distance to 3881.065, if not 50% or full.
Every buyer keep this in mind.
The question is... Where Ny window will open...

These things happen a lot. I'm sure you were able to make a lot of profit last week instead. That's just how the market is. Personally, I had no trades that day because it was in an area that didn't give me any confirmation signals
