Gold (XAUUSD) at $3,866 — What It Means

  1. US Government Shutdown Risk: Investors are flocking to safe havens. Shutdowns trigger fiscal uncertainty, weaken confidence in the dollar, and historically boost gold.
  2. Technical Breakout: If $3,866 is a clean break above previous resistance (say $3,800), it could open the door to $3,900 or even $4,000 in the near term.
  3. Momentum Watch: Look for confirmation via volume spikes or RSI divergence. If RSI is above 70, caution on overbought conditions.

Other FX Signals that usually related to GOLD movement

  1. GBPUSD at 1.3448: UK GDP in line with forecasts suggests stability. If this pair breaks above 1.3500, it could signal bullish continuation.
  2. USDJPY at 148.10: Weak Japanese retail sales + falling pair = possible yen strength. Watch for BOJ commentary or intervention risk.
  3. AUDUSD at 0.6600: RBA holding rates but noting inflation = hawkish undertone. If AUDUSD holds above 0.6620, bulls may target 0.6700.

Boeing (BA) at $217.03

  1. New aircraft development = long-term bullish narrative.
  2. If BA breaks above $220 with volume, it could retest $230–$240 range.

Trading Strategy Ideas

  1. XAUUSD:

    1. If already long, consider trailing stop near $3,830.
    2. If looking to enter, wait for a pullback to $3,840–$3,850 zone with confirmation.
    3. Target: $3,900–$3,950 short term.

  2. GBPUSD:

    1. Momentum favors upside. Entry on dips to 1.3400 with stop below 1.3350.
    2. Target: 1.3550–1.3600.

  3. USDJPY:

    1. Bearish bias. Short below 148.00 with stop above 148.50.
    2. Target: 147.00–146.50.

  4. AUDUSD:

    1. Bullish continuation possible. Long above 0.6620 with stop at 0.6580.
    2. Target: 0.6700–0.6750.

Since there are many ignorants or/& newbies who know nothing about everything...just like to create arguments and spread their triviality.
Sharing here how to simply trade my price levels. As you noticed, I mentioned only one resistance for Gold 3840
You can see on the chart how market price was rejected from that level at first impact, then went again tested and broke above up to ~3852, then retraced back down twice to 3842-43 that was your manual obvious SL. So entry 3840 and SL 3843
This how you wisely survive in a BS Gold one man show bullish movement. While many other times you can make good profits that way exceeds that little 3 points SL.
And remember that only fools have a set SL, while pros set a manual one.

As market price went way above 3840, it turned to support, so the higher you sell, keep in mind that this is the first TP until further notice.. that's basing below it.

Previously, have advice members here not to buy Gold at every "possible" new highs, dreaming of new breakouts, still some ignorantly repeat that reckless way of trading, luckily till this moment BS market is still helping them with Gold continuing up but sooner or later they'll bite their fingers.
Some might say oh that's their way of trading. True...but there's a big difference btw a normal trading style and a reckless one.
Buying for example at historic high at 3870 after price found huge resistance, just bcoz they're dreaming of breakout later, ain't like another buyer who waits for example for ~3840 to buy.. even if market price breaks below later.

So again, warning all about that reckless trading that would get you only huge losses on the long run with any pair other than the one man show Gold, and even with it... The time is coming while they hold on huge drawdowns

Technically speaking DXY have been creating a bullish trend on 4hr vs major pairs creating bearish trend, still the fundamental market refusing to acknowledge that. Let's see if it would hold on for a reversal.

gold doesnt seem to be moving much with DXY tho, unless you see something i dont

Gold already 3808 and collapsing... When I warned it was still 3855.

I’m wondering if this is a buy the rumour sell the news situation. Where DXY is bearish till we get the job data then it will reverse. But sentiment is towards a weaker labour market, so we won’t expect a strong data for job creation, OR is government shutdown a driving force. USDJPY should have reversed by now, gold is possible correcting ahead of a bullish run towards 3900
