I don't think is about being smart or stupid but about keeping the conversation going in a positive manner. People can disagree and never come to a common understanding, but it is their belief, and it has to be respected. Trump wants to fire Powell and I agree with that. However, the reason for firing Powell is wrong.

Powell needs to be fired because he has decimated the USD with his ultra loose policy that created the bubble of all bubbles and is still stubborn in his faulty view that policy is restrictive, it's not.

Trump will be blamed eventually when the economy collapses due to the currency collapse, and he'll deserve it. It's already very bad, but Powell might escape just in time before it all goes down, especially if he's fired sooner.

The best thing that can happen to Powell is for him to get fired. By the time some people wake up and understand what the Fed under his leadership has done to the USD, he would be long gone.
